“DEATH OF A BLACKHEART” MURDER MYSTERY DINNERClimb Aboard Mateys! ALWAYS REFORMINGSunday, October 28, 2012, is the day we celebrate the continual reforming of the church of our Lord Je-sus Christ. The Reformation began back in 1517 when Martin Luther officially began a religious movement that has continued since October 31 in that year. It all began officially as he nailed his 95 Theses to the Cas-tle Church door in Wittenberg, Germany. The Nassau and Stuyvesant Reformed Churches will focus in wor-ship on Romans 3:9-20 where Paul writes to the Chris-tians in Rome and believers everywhere that no one is saved by works; but rather by faith alone. MURDER MYSTERY AT THE FIREHOUSEThe banquet hall of the East Greenbush Fire Company will be the scene of the crime in an upcoming murder mystery of one “Smoking Joe”. See if you can help them solve the murder of Joe Pullito. Joe had been a member of the fire company for years. Everybody liked Joe, a fun guy to hang out with. He worked hard and partied harder. But Joe had a few secrets that may have gotten him killed. GILEAD’S ELECTION DAY LUNCHEON RETURNSThat’s right! After a slight hiccup in our yearly Election Day (Nov. 6th) schedule, we are back and ready to greet our old friends again. We will continue with the same menu we have had in the past, clam chow-der, sandwiches, hot dogs, chips and dessert. Need lunch, but unable to spend the time with us, just stop by and we will set you up with a take-out order.
