Impressions

This year in Rotaract has

been that of learning,

experiencing and brilliant

fellowship. I feel blessed to

have been given the

opportunity to work with

like minded people who a

passion for gaining

knowledge and serving the

community. As a president

my remembers made this

year, a journey worth all the

efforts.

-Rtr. Surabhi, President

Working for the better on a platform

like ROTARACT is a unique experience

for a student like me. To top it all, I was

handed over the integral

responsibilities of being the secretary

of the club, which made me much

more organized and brushed up my

planning abilities. Leading the club by

being a part of the board was a very

fortunate opportunity given to me, it

gave me a real feel of working in a

formal setup, it is an experience like

none other which made me a better

associate and a team player.

- Rtr. Sandeep, Secretary

Rotaract Club of Bangalore E-City 7

Page 8: Report 13-14

Impressions It has been a wonderful experience to

be a part of rotaract club of e-city

Bangalore . in the past year as a club

we have achieved a lot , starting from

ryla to the ongoing water project .

throughout the year I met a lot of

people and made many friends

.Attending projects like ' so-care ' and

visiting orphanages like "home of

hope " gave me a different outlook on

the issues faced be our society . all of

the projects were fun and now I look

forward to another year of rotaracting.

-Rtr. Pallavi, Treasurer

Rotaract is a platform that officially

established my tryst with altruism. As a

rotaractor, I have experienced first

hand the joy that comes with doing

something good out of choice rather

than out of obligations. Meeting other

young people was an added bonus in

this Journey.

- Rtr. Pradyumna, Vice President

Rotaract Club of Bangalore E-City 8

Page 9: Report 13-14

Impressions Being a member of the Rotaract has

been a completely different

experience. It has given me a very

good opportunity to provide service

to the society. My interpersonal ,

social skills, leadership &

managerial skills , have improved a

lot. I would really like to implement

these skills further in my life too.

This journey as a Rotaractor has

also inspired me with a service

motto.

-Rtr. Ashwini, Dir-Prof. Ser.

My journey in Rotaract so far has been

a very productive one.

The enriching experience of having

been the director of community

services was the cherry on top. I'm very

glad to acknowledge that I’m already

reaping benefits of the expanse of

learning, friendship & professionalism

that it has inculcated in me.

The cooperation & encouragement

shown by all club members drives me

to take on the coming years with more

enthusiasm.

- Rtr. Vijaya, Dir-Comm.Ser

Impressions

My experience with Rotaract Club

of Bangalore E-City so far has been

nothing short of spectacular! After

having taken up projects ranging

from our walk-a-thons right up to

projects like with So Care, its clear

that the club enables its members

to take part in some of the most

fulfilling and very memorable

experience that the world of social

work has to offer.

-Rtr. Pramukh, Dir-Intl. Ser

Being in Rotaract has helped

me grow and look at things in

a whole new perspective. This

being the first year, requires

the best bonding practices

and my post has helped me in

doing exactly so.

It has been a great journey to

begin with and I hope I can

always learn from these

experiences and move

forward.

- Rtr. Swathi, Dir-Club Ser.

Impressions The past year of Rotaract has been

eventful & a wonderful experience.

Since the very first day I have always felt

welcomed by the members. As a new

generation of Rotaractors we have always

tried to think outside the box for fresh

ideas to incorporate. We have done a

number of projects over the year and

each project is chaired by a different

member. The best thing about this club is

that every member's opinion is heard &

so none of them ever feels left out.

-Rtr. Shirish, Editor

It's been one eventful and glorious year

of rotaraction. Has been an alarm that

has woken me up every Sunday. it has

influenced the way I react and respond

to different situations that I come

across. On the whole it's been a

wonderful use of my time and energy,

learning to give something to the world

and acquire all the knowledge that it

has to offer.

We were accommodated by

extremely warm and

friendly Rotaractors who in

a jiffy became our good

friends. Being a part of the

Nepali New year was a

culturally phenomenal

experience. It was a mood

of celebration in Nepal and

hence it was considerably

difficult to make

arrangements for us but we

saw the members going out

of their way to do so. This

personally showed us the

spirit of fellowship in

Rotaract. Rotaract Club of Bangalore E-City 33

Meeting Rotaractors from another country,

learning about the causes they commit to

gave us a better understanding of social

situations other than ours.

To be a part of a different culture is an

unexplainable experience in itself. I am

grateful to the District and also my home

club for giving me this once in a lifetime

opportunity.
