Season’s Greetings and warm wishes for a blessed and cheerful 2017Welcome to Ideal Public School

This academic year we completed 24 years of service towards providing quality education since our inception in 1993, I take this opportunity to thank the Almighty for his abundant blessings. I thank our parents, teachers, students and well- wishers for their support throughout. I believe-“Real education fetches you more than a job.It teaches you to live.It cannot be measured in any tangible way”.

As we share the yearly updates of our activities, we take the modesty to say that we did our best to do as we had planned and we are proud of our students and teachers who strive hard to achieve beyond expectations.To avoid a lengthy presentation, the report will be a nutshell of all the activities of the Academic year 2016-17Academics:In AISSE conducted by the CBSE our students passed with cent percent results. Out of 14 students 1 got distinction, 8 students got First Class, 4 students got second class and 1 got third class.In AISSCE out of 46 students, 4 students got A1 in all subjects. 27 students got distinction and 19 students got first class.These achievements talk volumes about the dedication and hard work of team Ideal.We hope to continue and improve the academic achievements year after year.Activities:To enrich the learning environment and for the holistic development of students various individual and group activities were conducted spreading throughout the year. It includes Colour Day Celebrations, Fruit Salad Day, Group Collage, house wise essay writing, poetry

writing, debate, extempore speech, recitation, group singing and dancing, photography, cooking, drawing and painting etc. Class wise assembly, bulletin board display, quiz and school radio programmes, nature club activities were also part of the activities.Investiture ceremony was conducted and the students were invested by Mr. C K Jaleel, Vazhakkulam Block Panchayath Member. On the same day we inaugurated a charity project ‘Save Every Day’ to reach out for the needy.Inter school and Intra school   competitions -Our students participated inFreedom quest at Al-Ameen Public School Edappally .Risvy C, Muhammed Jezwan , Althaf Ashraf, Muhammed Naseeh won the second prize for short film.For Inventivo,held at Campion Public SchoolNihsal T Najeeb,Shafeek K A, Sanath M I,Rizwan K A, Muhammed Rameez P S, Semil Baiju, Shanid N S won second prize for mime.Students took part in group song, salad making and quiz competition in ‘Fabula 2016’ held at Rajagiri Public SchoolFor Noor-E-Ilahi at Al Ameen Public School , Thameem Ahamed and Muhammed Shiyas of class 5

won the 3rd prize in quiz competition competing with various other schools.In elocution Moh. Irfan won the Second prize. And over all we got the 5thposition.For freedom quiz Thejas Muhammed Hakkib won the third prize.Fabrica 2016 held at Jamia Hassania Art & Craft Inter school competition- Sufana B S of class VIII won the first prize and Afsal K A won the third prize for dry flower arrangement.Nihala Jaheer won the first prize for pencil drawing.Muhammed Rafi got first prize and Shani Mol got second prize for Clay Modelling.Malarvadi painting and drawing competitions held at Islamic Higher Secondary School, Aluva.Fidha K S of class V won the third prize.Our students Nihala Jaheer got first prize and Nazrin Basheer got third prize in the drawing competition held at St.Xavier’s College,AluvaIn Alton Spelling Bee competition 150 students participated in the first round. 72 students were selected for the second round.Our students Sumayya Roshan and Gayathri participated in the District Immunisation Quiz

organised by Kerala Government Medical officers Association.For Salesia Memorial Trophy Inter School Competition held at Jyothi Nivas Public School our students Salman Nazeer and Ameenul Abdullah K S won the second prize for quiz and our school won the overall second position.Our students Ameenul Abdullah and Gayathri Suresh participated for quiz organised by Samoohya Kshema Vakup, Govt of Kerala.Our students participated in Central Kerala Sahodaya Throw ball tournament held at BC Holy Angels Public school, Pothanicad.Our school football team participated in the Inter School Football tournament at Nirmala Public School, Moovattupuzha.They also participated in the Central Kerala Sports Meet in Carmel CMI Public School, Vazhakkulam.Minteena Benny got 2nd prize in Long Jump and High Jump and 3rd prize in 100 mtr race.Our students participated in the Inter School Chess Tournament held at St. Joseph Convent Senior Secondary School. Ishaan C of class V was placed in the 4th position.

We participated in Ensemble for Kinder Garten kids held at St. Peters senior secondary School, Kadayiruppu. We got 3rd prize for Group Song.Our students participated in the Inter School Poetry Recitation and painting competition-‘MAZHAVILLU’at Najath Public School.

Intra School CompetitionsCompetition between different houses for all the co curricular activities was conducted during kids fest and Ideal Fiesta 2016-17.KG Inter school competition ‘TECZA’ was conducted on 5th November 2016. It was inaugurated by our MLA Mr. Anwar Saadath. Among 20 schools that participated Al Ameen Public School, Edappally won the overall championship, our school was the first runner up. The second runner was St. Pauls Inernational School. Cartoonist Ibrahim Badusha gave away the prizes.As part of the interschool competition a science exhibition and astro vision show was also conducted. We had lots of visitors to view the planets through the telescope.

Naval Sea Cadets:Our students Goutham Sureshan, Sarin Sabu and Muhammed Irfan have been selected for sea cadet training at Southern Naval Command, KochiCelebrations:Environment day was celebrated by creating awareness about protecting our environment. Posters and collages were made by the students and sent to CBSE and students got certificates for the same.For expression series students also got certificates from CBSE. Rino Francis Xavier, Judicial first class magistrate and chairman of Taluk Legal Service Committee was the guest for the day.Eid and Onam were celebrated by the staff and students with traditional gaiety.Independence Day and Republic Day were celebrated with pomp and show. National flag was hoisted. Patriotic songs and declamation was conducted by students.Karshaka dinam was celebrated by inaugurating the Nature Club. We also started Ideal Radio 19.93 on that day.

Teacher’s day: Students presented programme for teachers and student teachers took classes for one period on that day.

Children’s day was celebrated teachers presented programme for the children and sweets were distributedChristmas Celebration: Christmas was celebrated on the last working day of December. Students shared cakes and Santa Claus visited all the classes.Sports Day: This academic year the sports day was celebrated on the renovated ground. The chief Guest was Walter Antony, former Santhosh Trophy player and football coach and Guest of Honour was Master.Lokesh, Judo world champion. A wonderful aerobic and karate display was performed by our students.Motivation Class for students: Motivation classes for students of classes VIII to XII was conducted by Prasidh Prasad,Praxis Solutions, Bangalore.9 students participated in the motivation classes conducted by Scripta Foundation at St. Peters Senior Secondary, Kadayiruppu.Motivation class for students of class X was conducted by Ansar Nedumbassery, Documentary Film Maker and motivational speaker.Motivation class for parents was conducted by Khatib of Thaikkattukara Muslim Jama-ath Jnb.Abdusalam Moulavi.

Motivation class was also conducted by Ansar Nedumbassery for parents.Motivation class for teachers was conducted by Prasidh Prasad, Praxis Knowledge Solutions, Bangalore.Sayyid Haris Thangal, Mac Millan also conducted Motivation class for teachers .Software Training was done for teachers by Mr. Johnson Vithayattil, J R Moon Solutions.Babu Ibrahim, mind trainer also conducted class for teachers.Excursions

Students went for excursion to LULU Sparky, Wonderla, Malampuzha, Kodaikanal, Madurai as a part of real life experience.School Updates

This year onwards we have started SMS system. The parents can check the marks of their children online and also receive messages from the school regarding important matters. For KG students ‘i-class room’ software is made available on our website.

School Face Lift and Infra Structure RenovationFrom this academic year onwards we are working together in one campus.Our entrance and front area has got a beautiful face lift and we have a wonderful renovated library. And today we are here in this wonderful spacious Auditorium.

Principal and Teachers Training Programmes

As a Principal I attended All Kerala Principals Conference organized by the confederation of Kerala sahodaya Complexes

Two days programme on Awareness meditative Relaxation

Myself and Vice Principal attended the quality Summit at Bangalore

Also attended Regional Summit of School Principals organized by ICRTC under project Paradigm

Nursery Teachers Training Programme at FBOA Hall, Aluva was attended by KG teachers

Islamic Studies Curriculum Orientation Programme at Al Ameen Public School, Edappally was attended by Islamic Studies teachers.

Two days workshop on programming and problem solving by Python was attended by our computer teachers

Lions Club imparted training to the teachers to identify the students with impaired vision at Lions hall, Pulinchod

PTA meetings were held periodically. PTA day was celebrated. We cherish parent’s co operation and their constructive suggestions in our endeavor of imparting quality education.

I take this opportunity to express my deep sense of gratitude to our Management for the valuable ongoing support. I also extend my heartfelt thanks to all the parents for their continuous support and co operation that enable us to move forward with confidence.

doubt, can still be done….excellence in every field is our goalIt is an enduring tradition to take time to pause, turn around to look at the fruitful year gone by, achieving both the expected and unexpected, while setting various milestones and then synergizing ourselves to move ahead to face the challenges in the coming year, with a positive attitude.Before concluding this report, I bow my head in reverence to Almighty God for all the blessing, He showered upon this institution year after year.
