quartz w/approximately 30X mafics. Contains several quartz veins to 94' at 450 to CA - syenite comprises up to 503S of granite at onset to 114.
Mottled appearance of granite due to changes in chemistry of rock At 114 unit becomes more blocky and contains more quartz and feldspar - up
epidote veinlets. Throughout unit is very minor magnetite in small blebs and colour alternates from light rosey, pink to dark salmon colour with increasfor decrease in feldspar or syenite. From 167 to 189 unit is more equigranu lar - medium grained granite w/minor epidote filled fractures at 45" to CA at scattered intervals. Blocky unequi-granular more quartzose section then begins (50X quartz) at 201 containing more feldspar as well From 246 onwards areas may contain up t 70* auartz resultina in a Quartzoseappearance At 291 mafics make up 3W of unit
