Design on 30th and 31st March 2017 in association. With Kerala Start Up Mission

by having a good grasp of the six steps of engineering design process.

successful project and is the most important document that needs to be created when starting any
business project. Seminar section was by Mr. Abi Varghese.

Workshop Details: This Workshop is designed to quickly take students from beginner to
basic functional knowledge of the Arduino microcontroller in two days (6-hour session). It
helps to learn a) how to write and upload simple code for the Arduino to perform basic logic
functions like reading a switch to change a motors direction, b) how to integrate a variety of
physical inputs including knobs, distance sensors, and light sensors, c) how to integrate a
variety of physical outputs such as motors, lights, and speakers, and d) how to put all of these
together to build simple self-contained low-cost low-power systems.

Workshop Details
Remote Sensing and GIS are powerful tools which have revolutionized our understanding
and approach to the Earth‟s resources, environment and their management.
In association with IEDC, VISAT Elanji, Tresreis Technologies conducted a 3 Day Hands on
training on „Geo-spatial Technologies & its Applications in Civil Engineering‟ for the 5th
semester Civil Engineering students. The training was resourceful for students in an academic
as well as talent improving perspective. The 3 Day training program included training of GIS
softwares, GPS surveying and the four modules of Geomatics.

Android App Development Workshop mainly focuses on how to use Android OS for building
your own Android Application. Only the basic knowledge of programming is required for

building up designing skills among student community. The workshop is designed in such a way that
the participants get familiarized with the digital fabrication machines and on how to use them in
converting an idea into a prototype. This workshop will be handled by the Fab Academy graduates.
