Works of TB and TC

• Technical board was not opened.• Three Technical committees have done

their works as scheduled and the details of the TC will be explained by three chairmen.

• The works are (a) revision of ACMC 2006 and (b) drafting of Level 3 documents, (c) statistical data servay.

• The final meeting of TB will be held on Sept. 11, 2013.

1st Technical Board meeting was in October 2012 in Thailand.

New STC among young researchers have been established after EC approved through e-mail discussion. 1st report will be made at TB meeting on 11th September.

Technical Board

• ICCMC Working Groups of WG1, WG2 and WG3 is transformed to Technical Committees TC1, TC2 and TC3, respectively.

• There can be more TCs in the future when necessary.

• The ACF Technical Board (TB) consists of VP for Technical, Chairs of all TCs and one elected EC member who is an individual member.

• Members of technical board is composed by 4 categories.

• 1) Vice-president (technical) • 2) Chairmen of technical committees

(elected 3 chairmen)• 3) Chairman of the Editorial Committee• 4) Elected chairman of Technical Board Total of 6 members

Editorial Committee Chair was also elected.

Works of TB

• Technical Board or TB takes care of technical matters with TC (Technical Committee)

• TB will coordinate problems in different TCs when needed.

• TC will coordinate problems in different STCs when needed.

• New (STC) Sub-Technical Committee may be formed under each TC.

STC11, STC21 and STC31 will take a care of ACMC and level 3 documents like ICCMC’s WG1, WG2 and WG3.

STC12, STC22 and STC32 can deal with any issue other than ACMC/level 3. For every issue new STC may be created.

For works on statistical survey a body other than TC is formed (see the next slide)

Technical Board and Committee

• Chairman of TB may convene meetings as deemed necessary with a minimum of one meeting per year.

• Chairman of TC may convene meetings as deemed necessary with a minimum of one meeting per year.

• When difficult to meet, simplified meetings can be used through internet. Meeting through e-mails is acceptable.

Level 3 Document

• Level 3 Document “Thailand Standard” which was presented in the previous meeting will be discussed in the last meeting.

→ “Thailand Standard for Materials and Construction – Guidelines for materials and construction of concrete structures based on Thai Standard specification” .

Masaki san knows the latest situation better than me.

Sub-Technical Committee (STC)

• New sub-technical committee shall be proposed by a group of members on any specified topic.

• Chairman of the STC must be approved by the TC and TB, and confirmed by EC.

• The activities of STC should be completed within a 3-year time period. The term may be extended with maximum of 2-years.

Two new STC has been proposed by JCI will be discussed at TB meeting on 11th September.One new STC may be proposed by KCI.
