Project 1: 787 Support Process Assistant Web Tool

Project Scope: – Facilitate content and creation of 787 Support Process Assistant Web Tool

Tasks:– Procured test and development server through MyServices– Created and managed Boeing Group Share for web tool read/write access– Collaborated with IT and Creative Services regarding web tool design and functionality– Worked with Ryan McGough in Pit Boss EI Team meeting to assign needed content to

team members– Used Dreamweaver software and html coding to develop content on test server

Added new links and menus, updated descriptions, and deleted menus while ensuring code integrity

– Trained Pit Bosses (with write access) on how to properly add news links, menus, and documents using html coding and Dreamweaver

Result:– 787 SPA Web Tool Test Site

Project Scope: – Research and report options for factory visuals to display airplane health using critical

milestones Tasks:

– Researched various visual display options– Worked with Ryan McGough to develop executive presentation including cost

breakdown/analysis, lifespan, and comparisons for three different factory visual options

Key Lessons on DALP, BCA, and Boeing

Performance in a cross-functional team environment is crucial to project success and ultimately the success of BCA.

Communication is key to efficient goal completion– Have a conversation– Face to face when possible

“If you don’t have a plan, one will be made for you.” – Angie Gates Asking questions is one of the best ways to avoid unnecessary rework Professional development is a matter of choice and initiative. Visualize the effect on the whole, as opposed to a small part.
