Objectives
1. To make sure our cars goes inside the hole by using our own type of launcher.
2. To familiar with projectile analysis and calculation.
Introduction
A projectile is any object that is cast, fired, flung, heaved, hurled, pitched, tossed, or thrown.
(This is an informal definition. The path of a projectile is called its trajectory. A projectile is any
object with an initial non!"ero, hori"ontal velocity whose acceleration is due to gravity alone. An
object ceases to be a projectile once any real effect is made to change its trajectory. The
trajectory of a projectile is thus entirely determined the moment it satisfies the definition of a
projectile. The only relevant #uantities that might vary from projectile to projectile then are
initial velocity and initial position. This project by using racing car (TA$%&A T&' create our
own launcher so that the car goes into the hole 1m away, the launcher system should be based on
mechanical concept such as, spring and rubber. lectric, electronic or chemical concept are not
allowed so by using projectile analysis and calculation we all must calculated how to make sure
our racing car goes into the hole. )alculation of this projectile as shown below.

Mechanism
The launcher for our racing car we use rubber band mechanism. This because of its superior
elasticity. A rubber band, also known as a binder, elastic band, lackey band, laggy band, gum
band, or elastic, is usually ring shaped and commonly used to hold multiple objects together.
This rubber band can generate a lot of forces to push our car because of elastic.
*ased on this mechanism we can say that+
-orces get things going rather than making things stop.
-orces are associated with living things, physical activity and muscular
strength.

hen an object is moving, there is a force in the direction of its motion.
A moving object has a force within it which keeps it going.

if the pushing force ceases there is a force on the moving object which keeps
it moving but which gradually gets used up and then the object stops.
