Tasting events will give Vinexpo New York attendees plenty of opportunities to sampleexceptional wines and spirits from around the world. Among them: In a special partnership with Vinexpo, Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET), the world'sleading provider of wine and spirits qualifications, will provide educational content throughout theshow, including tasting sessions delivered by WSET-certified industry experts. WSET will alsoshare details of its new WSET Diploma in Wines qualification program, which will launch inAugust 2019. On Monday, March 4, Renaissance des Appellations will showcase the Biodynamic® wines of62 of its members, all dedicated to producing wine of "high quality, with great originality" that fullyexpress their terroir. Also new is the Wine Spectator 90+ Club Tasting Bar – a perfect opportunity to sample andlearn– which will single out wines by Vinexpo New York exhibitors that have been rated 90+points ("outstanding" on the 100-point scale) by the prestigious wine magazine.

Bernard Magrez, owner of four Grands Crus Classés and more than 40 châteaux around theworld, returns to Vinexpo New York in 2019 with a new acquisition: Château Le Sartre, whichrecently merged with Magrez' Château Pape Clément. Also new for Bernard Magrez is a large-scale expansion to its Research and Development department that will focus on more efficientviticultural techniques and sustainability while maintaining respect for terroir and tradition. AtVinexpo New York, Magrez will introduce its new Bleu de Mer Sparkling, both white and rosé,and will show several Classified Growths Wines—Château Pape Clément, Château La TourCarnet, Château Fombrauge and Château Haut-Peyraguey—and a selection of regional winessuch as Bleu de Mer and Château Les Muraires. Located in Spain's Sonsierra winemaking region, Bodega Sonsierra will return to Vinexpo NewYork after a successful 2018 show. The cooperative, which has operated since 1962, has begunconstruction of a new, small winery in Rioja that will produce high-end wines from singlevineyards. Vinexpo attendees will have a special opportunity to sample the new ViñedosSingulares from Rioja, which is not yet ready for the market, as well as Sonsierra Wines. Champagne Cuillier will exhibit at Vinexpo New York as it seeks to expand into U.S. marketsbeyond New York City. Located in the 'Massif de St Thierry,' close to Reims, France, the fifth-generation winemaker makes a great effort in its vineyards to be pesticide free and recentlyplanted trees to introduce a greater variety of insect and animal species, enlivening the soil andvines. Champagne Cuillier has also just introduced a new high-end clothing line. The winemakerplans to present its own champagnes at Vinexpo as well as those by Champagne De Sloovere-Pienne and Gaius Provence. LGI Wines will present its core blends at Vinexpo, as well as international brands not yetavailable in the U.S. Based in the south of France, the company specializes in private andcontrol labels, working with a network of growers, caves, cooperatives and large estates. A teamof five winemakers is responsible for selecting and vinifying the juice that goes into LGI blends.They then customize the blends to each market and customer specifications and work with thedesign studio to select packaging from LGI's existing portfolio or create new custom packaging.
