REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATIONS @ ITL PUBLIC SCHOOL A nation's culture resides in the hearts and in the soul of its people. -Mahatma Gandhi ITL Public School celebrated the 70th Republic Day of our nation on the theme- Gantantra ke Sopan, in all its solemnity and grandeur in the school playground. The grand assembly commenced with unfurling of the National Flag followed by rendition of the Sanskrit song ‘Bhavatu Bharatam-an ode to the glory of India. A distinct patriotic Qawalli by the itleens presented the facets of our love of our country; the jugalbandi of which was much appreciated and enjoyed by all. ‘Significance of Constitution in our everyday life ‘ the Ted talk by Falguni Mahajan of class XI sensitized the students on the celebrations as our ownership and responsibility towards our country and not a mere holiday to relax. The cultural programme was culminated by the grand finale dance on Unity in Diversity. The Principal, Ms Sudha Acharya in her address urged the students to observe the day as a FESTIVAL and to reorient our thought process as we have social, moral, spiritual responsibility towards our country. She admonished the students to be Ethical Citizens thereby converging patriotic thoughts by means of body, mind and soul. The event was an awe-inspiring one and the idea behind the celebration was to generate a powerful spirit of patriotism among the youth and the citizens of India and to promote the rich cultural diversity of the country.

ITL Public School celebrated the 70th Republic Day of our nation on the theme- Gantantra ke Sopan, in all its
