REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL: RFP – HS – B01/2016/2017

INTRODUCTION

The purpose is to give clarity to some of the frequently asked questions regarding the advertised Request for Proposal for the Design and Implementation of Water and Sewer Networks in various Districts in the Free State over a period of three (3) years (RFP-HS-B01/2016/2017)

To give clarity to any other questions that might come from the audience.

GENERAL TERMS OF THE BID

Bidders must ensure that they comply fully with all the conditions as stipulated in the bid document.

NB: That any deviation will invalidate the bid.

Compulsory briefing sessions have been arranged as follows

Date and Time: 24 JUNE 2016 at 09H00,

Venue: OR Tambo House, 8th Floor (Auditorium)

GENERAL TERMS OF THE BID .…

Bidders must ensure that they deposit their bid in the bid box at the address as mentioned in the bid document (Foyer on 7th Floor, OR Tambo House).

The department will not be responsible for bids that were not deposited as such due to posting or courier by the bidder and late arrivals.

Closing time is 11h00 sharp on the 13 July 2016.

Collection of Bid Documents • Documents maybe collected as follows:

– OR Tambo House, 10th Floor Room No. 1002

– Documents may be collected during working hours from 8h00 until 15h00.

• A non-refundable tender fee of R1 200.00 per document must be paid at Departmental cashier, OR Tambo House, Eight floor, Room 831A before 15h00 before any documents can be given to the bidders. No bank payments or cheques allowed.
