Requirements to Open Letter of Credit in Bank Mega Mega Bank as one of the issuing bank in Indonesia has their owned requirement to open Letter of Credit account in Mega Bank. This requirement was set by Mega Bank to make sure their customer it was have qualified to opened Letter of Credit in Mega Bank. The requirement such as: 1. Opened an account in Bank Mega First of all is the customer who wants to open letter of credit they must have mage bank account. 2. API ( Import Identification Number) API was given by the government to any company that will carry out the activities import goods / components from abroad for import. 3. Guarantee ( collateral) One of the requirements is guaranteed to make sure the costumer eligible to pay among of money whose they set in Letter of Credit. The type of guarantee is could be one of the fixed assets of customers that have equality value with the debt. 4. Identity Card Identity card has a function to make sure the identity of the customer is it have a crime problem or not and to make sure they have the Indonesian identity card.

5. SIUP ( Trade Business License) The license from government to open and run the business in Indonesia that means our customers was registered as the legal business.

6. NPWP ( Tax Id Number)Number id given by government to the people who they must pay the tax.

7. Contract Application with The SellerThis document is one of the important things because from the contract application the bank can see the detail of product, the type of product and how many products would be come to Indonesia.

8. TDP ( certificate of company registration)This document has the function to make sure that company who wants to open letter of credit is registered and legal not fake company. After the customers full fill all of the requirements, the next step is full fill the application form to complete all of the steps to open letter of credit in mega bank.
