The personal information collected is held in the Info Source Personal Information Bank "Assessment by the Personnel Psychology Centreʺ (PSC PCU 025). This information is collected for staffing and other human resource management related assessments, in accordance with sections 11, 30, and 36 of the Public Service Employment Act (PSEA). For the purposes of staffing processes in organizations that do not fall under the PSEA, personal information is collected under the authority of that organization's enabling statute and section 35 of the PSEA. Rescore results will be disclosed only to the requesting department or organization. Test results may be disclosed to the Investigations Directorate of the PSC if an investigation is conducted pursuant to section 66 to 69 of the PSEA. Any statistical information you provide is voluntary and will be used only by the PSC for statistical purposes and to do analysis and research in the area of test development. In some cases, information may be disclosed without your further consent, for purposes not outlined here, pursuant to Subsection 8(2) of the Privacy Act. Hard copy files are retained for five years following PSC scoring date and then destroyed. Candidate responses (as applicable) and test results are kept indefinitely on computerized files. The Privacy Act states that you have the right to access your personal information and to request changes to incorrect information. Instructions for the Human Resources Advisor The rescore request must be initiated by the candidate and must be submitted to the Human Resources Advisor responsible for the appointment process within 10 days of the date when the test results were sent. Before submitting the request, the Human Resources Advisor must inform the candidate of the potential impact of the rescore on their official test result. The request submitted directly by a candidate will not be accepted. Rescore is only available for the paper version of PSC tests.
