RESQ Smartline X

OUR EQUIPMENT

Smartline X is the smallest and lightest personal evacuation

device in the World. With a maximum user weight of 140kg,

maximum descent distance of 200m and weighing < 4kg

(200m), Smartline X is unique. We are committed to

better and safer rescue solutions for workers at height,

continuously innovating with a determination to support

industry.

The kits are light weight and extremely easy to carry when

attached to the harness. This ensures availability in an emer-

gency, Whenever you are in the elevated workplace.

The Aramid rope has an incredible strength to diameter ratio

and has a heat resistance in excess of 480° C. Smartline X can

even be suitable where sudden fire appears.

RESQ RED Pro III

THE DEVICE - BACKRED PRO III KIT

RED Pro III is the latest version of RED Pro with an improved

and simplified li�- and locking mechanism for rescue. This ver-

sion is equipped with a built in torque limiter in the handwheel.

Used to li� a person to disconnect e.g. fall arrest lanyards a�er

a fall and therea�er evacuate the casualty to a safe location.

In descent/evacuation the centrifugal brake Is automatically

engaged and regulates the descent to a constant speed for

easy and safe descent, from for example cranes, wind turbines,

mobile working platforms and industrial buildings. The descent

speed is up to 2m/s depending on the weight of the person.

RESQ RED Pro MkI

UniDrive

RESQ RED Pro is a rescue and evacuation device that works

on the principle of centrifugal force to ensure a constant

lowering speed of (0.5-2.0m/sec). It enables quick and safe

evacuation or rescue from many structures, such as wind

turbines, mobile elevated work platforms, tower cranes and

industrial buildings.

The winch is used to li� and release people who have taken a

fall into their fall arrest system.

UniDrive is a fully certified multifunctional rescue, descent

device. Lowering speed (0.5 – 2.0 m/sec) depending of the

weight of the person being rescued, or the height from which

the person is being lowered from. Easy to use and allows

quick and safe evacuation/resuce from, for example, wind

turbines, cranes, skyli�s, platforms and confined space.

The winch function is self-locking and can be operated

manually:

• by handwheel – for short distances

• by telescopic ratchet (included) with direct drive – for

long distances and high loads with adjustable force for

operating

• by any external power source (f.e. power drill, not

included in the kit)

Integrated torque limiter as overload protection for device,

rope and casualty.

RESQ DDRESQ DD is designed and used for the safe rescue and

evacuation of personnel in the event of an emergency.

Unique patented rescue and evacuation equipment for

heights up to 200M. By connecting a winch, axle and brake

drum directly to each other, RESQ DD (Direct Drive) enables

superior performance, safety and is easy to use.

The winch is used to li� and release people who have taken

a fall into their fall arrest system. The robust design makes a

2-4 persons evacuation in one descent possible.

In 2003 RESQ began a journey and created the world’s first vacuum sealed

rescue device. This protected the life-saving equipment from hazards and

carried a 6-year lifespan which was increased to 10 years in 2010.

Working with our suppliers and our extensive industry track record, we have

created a new, sustainable rescue device protection system. RESQ Vacuum+

will be launched on 01/01/2020 and begins a 15 year lifecycle programme

for our rescue devices. Listening to our customers, we realised that the wind

turbine asset is based on a 25-year lifecycle. The extended lifetime (15+15

years) means we can offer cost savings as well as minimizing our environ-

mental footprint.

The original Vacuum concept

The vacuum packaged bag guarantees that condensation or moisture cannot appear, as there is no air. Furthermore, it is impossi-

ble for the rope or packaged components to abrade against each other as they lie still in the vacuum bag.

RESQ guarantees our vacuum sealed products for 10 years thanks to the effectiveness of the packaging, and the very simple

annual inspection process this allows. Additionally, an unopened vacuum package is also both easy and quick to inspect in

position, which gives the customer the chance to make significant cost savings in connection with the annual inspection. As the

vacuum package is unique and patented, there is no comparable or better solution on the market.

Quick Access Vacuum for Smartline X

We have combined two fantastic solutions and can now offer

Smartline X in our original patented vacuum pack which has

been customised for Smartline X. The result is a smaller and

so�er pack which can be opened by tearing along the open-

ing seam. We call it RESQ Quick Access.

By packing the equipment in vacuum, moisture cannot be

present in the package. It’s also impossible for the rope and

other components to be worn or rubbed against each other.

As long as the Smartline X Vacuum pack remains intact the

equipment has a 10 year lifespan.
