What paraphrasing is NOT
Do NOT use quotes out of laziness. Quotes in scientific writing are RARE and only used to convey an experts opinion or a unique turn of phrase
What paraphrasing is
Presentations, whether in written or verbal format, should reflect YOUR understanding and YOUR conclusions
This means that you should really absorb the material and present it in a unique way that addresses your goals.
Use scientific vocabulary, but define it when you first use it.
