OTHER RESEARCH ACHIEVEMENTS AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS (1 page) * 2009-2014: Director and coordinator of Grup de Recerca sobre Migracions (GRM), Department of Geography at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. This was a consolidated and publicly funded research group (2009-2014) by AGAUR (Catalan Government, Generalitat de Catalunya), ref. SGR2009-728. In late 2014, this group merged with a wider consolidated and publicly funded research group - placed within the same Geography Department (2014-2017) and named INTERFASE (AGAUR, ref. SGR2014-1499)-, where Ricard Morén-Alegret was coordinator of the Migration Research Programme. Since 2017, the Migration Research Programme and the Migration research Gallery (GRM) are still coordinated by Ricard Morén-Alegret but as a research line that is part of ECONECOL, another wider consolidated and publicly funded research group (AGAUR, ref. • Organization experience in scientific events: - Main coordinator and co-organizer of the GRM Annual Seminar Series on Migration held at the UAB Geography Department since 2001-2002 academic year.
