Title
Designer Statement:I put emphasis on Interactive System by putting these terms on the same line and increasing it's size. I did this because this is how user's will know what this researchcenter is about.
The first logo is used for external marketing. The bright colors are used to grab user'sattention and stand out against other research centers. The second logo is for internalmarketing. It has more of a professional and modern feel so show user'sthat this research center will help with their professional career.

The ISRC acts as a bridge for faculty across the UMBC campus
with expertise in designing, building, or studying uses of
interactive computing systems.
It facilitates the sharing of resources and experience in
solving computing problems from a user-centered perspective
grounded in user needs and not in simply applying previously
designed solutions to new domains.
Mission Statement
Designer Statement:
The design language for the internal ISRC mission statement is professional yet modern and fun. I used the green accent color to highlight important verbs in order to help users understand what the ISRC is about.

Identity System
Designer Statement:This design language for the identity system is supposed to be informative, modernand visual. Instead of using any text, I decided to use an identity system thatillustrates what the research is about with a limited amount of graphics. The identitysystem represents collaboration, research, and interactive systems.

Interactive Systems R e s e a r c h C e n t e r
Ravi Kuber's research examines the ways that touch- based (haptic) technologies can be used to support interaction with an interface, when the user's visual channel is blocked or restricted. He has designed haptic and multimodal interfaces to supportindividuals who are blind and older adults to overcome the barriers faced when accessing graphical user interfaces. He has also examined ways to develop tactile feedback to augment the mobile interaction experience and to heighten levels of situational awareness. Other areas of interest include applying non-visual technologies to address the trade-offs associated with authentication and using BCI and gestures to support communication. He received his Ph.D. from Queen's University Belfast, Northern Ireland, and M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees from University College London, UK.

T-Shirts
Designer Statement:The first t-shirt design puts the ISRC logo in the middle of two circles. This is supposedto give the shirt a superman/superwoman feel. The teal color at the bottom of the shirtaround around the collar help to eliminate white space. The user's profession typewould appear on the sleeves. The design language of the second shirt is meant to befunny yet truthful and sporty. The shirt uses a gray and teal colorblock. The profession type is on the back of the shirt similar to a jersey.

Website
Designer Statement:This layout of this website is meant to be engaging and informative. There are manyvisuals to help break up the text. There is a hero space so that the ISRC is able tofeature content that is appropriate for their user base. I included the icons so thatnew users know what projects the ISRC focuses on. The faculty page has a layout that is scalable. Faculty on one side and Post Docs and PhD Students on the other side.
