Contacting Gallery Space – Evidence We were each given a space in where we had to get in contact with them, inquiring about costs, space and whether or not they would support a student’s Gallery exhibition.

I am contacting you to inquire about your exhibition space(s) for a graduation show next summer, around the beginning of June (subject to change). It will be a group of around 30/40 graduates from UCA Rochester’s BA Photography/ BA Fashion Photography course. The University has, for the past several years, exhibited at Free Range, but in response to feedback from students (too expensive, little pay-off), they have put it to us, the students, to research alternate spaces. So, as a student, I am unable to give you exact numbers and dates, but if possible, what costs could we roughly expect for your venue? And what is the availability of such a space like? I.e. how long in advance would the space need to be booked? As well as that is there any restrictions you have?

Depending on the venue, I will adjust the number of spaces, with also taking into account weather the BA Fashion photography will be exhibiting separately to the BA photography. When we have a rough estimate and knowledge of how it’s going to work, I’ll be able to email different spaces the exact number we want to work with.

Gallery Space – Tanner Street – London Bridge

This venue is not licensed and usually not suitable for parties, live bands or DJ's.

47/49 Tanner Street is a Victorian warehouse with 3 floors of exposed brick walls and ex-industrial features, providing a unique and inspiring environment. Our large, flexible spaces are available for hire, and are frequently used for film shoots, photography and private events.
