GOALS OF THE PROJECTTo provide an online resource to assist in the education of podiatric resident physiciansEducational lecture programs to be based on the Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME) competencies for podiatric resident education and training

OVERSIGHT COMMITTEEWill review the CPME Residency competencies and develop a curriculum of lectures to meet the competency requirementsWill assign the developed lecture topics to the appropriate affiliate organization and the affiliate organization will identify an individual to provide the lectureLecture format will be a voice over power pointAppropriate recording microphones will be purchased and shipped to the lecturer to insure proper sound qualityLectures will be uploaded to the REdRC after review and approval by the oversight committeeREdRC WebsiteResidents will register ($300 yearly subscription fee) with the REdRC site and be assigned a username and passwordThey will identify their residency directorresidency directors will be given complimentary subscription (when their resident(s) subscribe) and will be able to monitor their residents progressA drop down menu will list all available lecturesA recommended schedule will be provided for each year of residency training (one lecture per week for 50 weeks) with e-mail reminders sent to subscribers
