Intensive English with Sport & Culture Course

PurposeThis course is designed to improve all key aspects of English, whilst also developing sports skills. Students also enjoy social and cultural activities with students from other countries.

Included in the Course:• English Course – 15 hours of English lessons per week

taught in small classes (maximum of 12). The English course includes an induction and placement test and end of course report and certificate

• Sports Coaching – Up to 9 hours of professional coaching per week in tennis and golf. Tuition in other sports including football and cricket

• Up to 6 hours of tuition, including Presentation Skills, Spoken English, Drama and Debating

• Half-day cultural field trip• Saturday full-day excursion; Sunday optional shopping

PurposeThis intensive academic course provides a boarding experience for internationalstudents. It also offers ideal GCSE and A Level preparation for those who plan to study at a UK boarding school

• 30 hours of lessons a week taught in small classes (maximum of 12) by experienced EAL trained staff

• Intensive focus on the English language requirements for studying Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Geography, Business Studies, Economics and other relevant subjects, including weekly cultural field trip

• Induction and placement tests and end of course report

• Formal English Speaking presentations examined during the course

• Programme includes opportunities for debating, music, art and drama

PurposeThis unique programme givesparents and children a chance to experience life in a UK boarding school, improve their English and have a fun holiday. The programme offers a wide variety of courses and activities for children and parents to participate in both together and separately.

Included in the Programme:• English Course – 15 hours of English
