Mr. HONDA submitted the following resolution; which was referred to the Committee on lllllllllllllll
RESOLUTION Amending the Rules of the House of Representatives to
protect House employees from employment discrimina-tion on the basis of actual or perceived sexual orientation and gender identity.
Resolved, That clause 9 of rule XXIII (known as the 1
Code of Official Conduct) is amended by inserting ‘‘actual 2
or perceived’’ before ‘‘race’’ and by inserting ‘‘sexual ori-3
entation or gender identity,’’ before ‘‘disability’’. 4
