MTI’s Business Innovation Program (BIP) funds business growth & expansion

• TechStart - $5K (2x) - for market research, business planning, IP

• Seed Grant - $25K (2x) - market research, product design, prototype development, beta testing

• Development Loan - $250K/$500K (2x) – manufacturing scale up, new product development (R&D component) – 15% for business development activities

• Business Accelerator Grants – specifically for commercialization and business development – 10% of DL/20% of SBIR Phase I/10% of SBIR Phase II

• SBIR/STTR – Technical Assistance Program and KickStarter grant ($5K) for support for developing grant applications
