In Tohoku an earthquake struck off shore of Japan along with the subduction zone where two of earth’s tectonic plates had collided because one plate had slanted to the other side causing a massive earthquake by unleashing a terrifying tsunami along with it and people got so scared that the huge wave was so strong that it had killed thousands of people left with no houses food or water to survive!

The early warning had happened in Tokyo that had received the first warning about the earthquake that had happened and only had a matter of time to be secure because what the tsunami did back in Japan was not a fun place to live because if Tokyo had bin hit with the same huge wave that hit Japan it would be so sad for those people that suffered through all that mess!

The Early Warning

During the tsunami more than 18,000 Japanese people have been killed by the struck by the strongest wave that had drowned in their apartments or that have been killed by falling buildings. The wave was up to 128ft [39m] and at Miyako city traveled inland for as far as 6 miles [10km]in Sendai. The wave flooded an estimated area of 217 square miles [156 square km] in Japan.

The tsunami had caused a cooling system failure in the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant which had a resulted at a level 7 nuclear meltdown and it released a radioactive material that had 300 tons of mixed water with radioactive that continues to leak from the power plant everyday into the Pacific Ocean and affecting the marine life and every animal that lives in the Pacific.

On March 11, 2011, a magnitude-9 earthquake shook northeastern Japan, unleashing a savage tsunami. The effects of the great

earthquake were felt around the world, from Norway's fjords to Antarctica's ice sheet. Tsunami debris continues to wash up on North

American beaches two years latter. Japan still recoveringIn Japan, residents are still recovering from the disaster. Radioactive water

was recently discovered leaking from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, which suffered a level 7 nuclear meltdown after the

tsunami. Japan relies on nuclear power, and many of the country's nuclear reactors remain closed because of stricter seismic safety

standards since the earthquake.
