Why should we respect our parents?
The Holy Quran
Thy Lord has commanded,
“Worship none but him, and
show kindness to parents. If
one of them or both of them
attain old age with thee,
never say unto them any
word expressive of disgust
nor reproach them, but
address them with excellent
speech.”
Surah Bani Isra’il: Ch 17:24
Thing parents do for us
• Our mothers carry us for nine months, and they give birth to
us!• Fathers provide for us!💰
• Teach us how to be a better person
• Help us face the challenges of life
• Make us wake up, go to school, and become smart
• They love us!!!
Without them, most of us would not be in a place we are
today.

and say: My Lord! Bestow on them your Mercy even as
