KEY ACCOMPLISH M ENTS Triumph-Vought Aircraft Inc. Initiated “Check Fixture” concept proposal for upper management and received approval to fabricate new “CF”
multiple Stringers which include 142U7741-13 through -21 complex stringers. Tool designed and fabricated by Futuramic Tool & Engineering for Boeing Northwest Provision Division worth
close to $500,000.00. Followed up tool fabrication from start to finish, provided weekly updates to upper management via Inch Stone
Chart. Witnessed tool buyoff and created tool usage instructions for RFC.
Follow up Tool usage after tool incorporated into the production line, initiate corrective action to minimize MRB tag.
Improved manufacturing process by eliminating unnecessary cutting tools Reduced 15 hours setup and 37 hours run time to a total of 5 hours i.e. 3 hours setup and 2 hours runtime, estimated dollars saved per setup $960 and per parts $2,800.
