     Experience   Resica Elementary School, East Stroudsburg, PA 1/31/2011 - Present

While  working  at  Resica,  I  had  the  opportunity  to  work  with  4th  and  5th  grade  Learning  Support  Students  and  K-­‐‑2  Emotional  Support  Students.  I  was  responsible  for  teaching  the  curriculum,  lesson  planning,  integrating  technology,  providing  accommodations  and  modifications  according  to  each  student’s  Individual  Education  Plan,  keep  daily  progress  monitoring  data,  stay  in  compliance  with  all  state  and  district  mandated  paperwork  and  other  teacher  related  responsibilities.    

Hamilton Elementary School, Sciota, PA 10/19/10 – 12/16/10

During  this  student  teaching  placement,  I  taught  19  first  grade  students  in  all  academic  subjects  such  as  Fundations,  guided  reading,  mathematics,  writing,  social  studies,  and  science.  I  successfully  implemented  thematic  units,  standard  based  instruction  and  literacy  centers  into  my  classroom.    

Stroudsburg Middle School, Stroudsburg, PA 8/30/10 – 10/15/10

During  this  student  teaching  placement,  I  had  the  opportunity  to  teach  ten  students  in  a  Life  Skills  Classroom.  Here  I  developed  a  new  social  studies  unit  with  interactive  learning  centers  and  bulletin  boards,  wrote  and  revised  IEP’s,  and  completed  progress-­‐‑monitoring  data  for  each  student.

Skills            

I  enjoy  learning  new  and  unique  ways  to  incorporate  technology  in  my  classroom  of  students  with  special  needs.  I  have  experience  working  with  all  Microsoft  Office  Products,  Adobe  Creative  Suite  (Indesign,  Photoshop,  Premier  Pro  and  Captivate),  LMS’  such  as  Moodle  and  D2L,  Blackboard  Collaborate,  a  variety  of  Web  2.0  tools,  interactive  media  such  as  Ipads,  Smartboard,  Mimio,  Promethean  products.  I  am  incredibly  organized,  task  oriented,  energetic,  a  quick  learner,  and  pay  close  attention  to  detail.
