Engineering Intern | Total Exploration & Production Indonesia – Jakarta | December 2012 – February 2013

TEPI is Indonesia’s largest gas supplier and currently accounts for 82% of Bontang LNG Plant’s supply. I was

employed on an internship to work on the Peciko Field, Phase 8A Pre-Project - Installation of booster

compressor (Brown-field project).

Responsibilities:

● Researched mechanism of engine-driven reciprocating compressor for low-pressure platforms and reported

to project coordinator

● Engaged in Process Flow Diagram modification meetings in implementing proposed booster compressor

● Prepared documents for gap-analysis study as per Total E&P Company Standards on the specifications of

engine-driven reciprocating compressors from potential vendors

● Gained exposure to Hazard Identification (HAZID) studies on the impact of natural environment, effluent to

surrounding, process hazards, utility system hazards, and simultaneous operations

Intern Student | Chevron Indonesia Company - East Kalimantan, Indonesia | February 2012 – March 2012

Chevron is the largest producer of Indonesia's crude oil, accounting for approximately 40 percent of Indonesia’s

national production.

Responsibilities:

● Studied the Process Flow Diagram and Process and Instrumentation Diagram of both offshore production

platform and onshore processing plant to understand the thought process and safety mechanism

● Inspected the process equipment and instrumentation of the production platform and the onshore

processing plant to ensure its similarity with its PFD and P&ID

● Performed basic process simulation using HYSYS software to check accuracy of past report.
