Job Responsibilities 1. Pesticides Registration job (National & Overseas) and Regulatory affairs. Market Research, Identification of prospective product for introduction in the Market, Marketing tie-up & Product Diversification. Project proposal. Preparation of technical documents. Transfer of technical know & crop protection technology to the farmers.
2. Provide supporting services to the MOH&FW (NVBDCP) by conducting Malaria & Kala-azar vector control Training to the vector control officials of different Malaria/ Kala-azar endemic states.
3. Responsible for conducting- i) Malaria Awareness program at community level. ii) Providing technical services to field staff on IRS activities. IRS training to the Malaria vector control field staff at National Level. Malaria & Leishmaniasis Vector Control Activities. iii) IEC & BCC activities at community level in malaria & Leishmaniasis endemic areas.
4. Liaison work with Ministry of Health, Ministry of Agriculture & Ministry of Environment & Forests on various technical matters.
5. Represent Stockholm Convention & Rotterdam Convention (UNEP Convention) as Indian delegate with MOE&F related to the chemical issues (pesticides) of countries interest.

1. Presentation on Malaria Vector Control activities in East & Southern African Malaria Conference at Lusaka, Zambia.
2. Represent Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) & Rotterdam Convention on Prior Informed Consent (PIC) (UNEP Convention) as Indian delegate with MOE&F related to technical discussion on chemical issues (pesticides) of countries interest.
