Worked up through Cold and Hot Commissioning, coordinating with Midland Borough Building inspector and contractors on 12/2012 – 04/2014 R.T. PATTERSON COMPANY, INC. PITTSBURGH, PA. Assigned to Horsehead Corporation Greenfield Zinc SX/EW Plant in Mooresboro, N.C. as an Electrical Engineer/Construction Manager and coordinator over the electrical contractors and Aluminum buss bar installation in the Electrowhinning Facility. 8/2011 – 12/2012 SARGENT E LECTRIC COMPANY, Prime Contractor to IPR Global Contractor Management Company at the V&M TWO LLC, 7” FQM, New Pipe Mill in Youngstown, OhioConstruction Field Engineer for Sargent Electric Company. We came on site in late July 2011 after the underground embedded conduit duct banks were approximately 75% completed by another electrical contractor.

Another fast track project "engineering late, not complete with very aggressive construction milestone dates. "The cable schedules” were broken down per area and other area’s not complete. There was no routing, no raceways designed or termination information. The Engineering Company that issued the embedded RFC conduit drawings along with other electrical installation drawings was no longer on the project when we started. Daniela, the Mill Builder is on site for assistance to answer questions through IPR. The Pipe Mill was assembled in Italy taken apart, crated up and shipped to this job site. IPR/Kvaerner was responsible for the location of the electrical equipment and components for installation. After Sargent position changed from a sub to Kvaerner to Prime Electrical Contractor it then became our responsibility. My role as the Lead Field Engineer has been pretty much been to help the lesser experienced electrician’s with the drawings, field problems and to provide the electricians with the information they need including making field sketches, spreadsheets and coordination with IPR and other crafts so they can complete their specific scope of work. We have had to use the original Danieli vendor drawings a map for finding equipment, equipment, device locations in lieu of not having the electrical installation drawings. Attend most meeting

and take the project contemporaneous notes as their scribe. Attend all daily/weekly IPR construction meetings and IPR/V&M TWO commissioning turnover meeting with Sargent’s QA/QC Manager. Coordination came from IPR who turned to Danieli (on site) as needed and were helping direct our field supervision in lieu of complete Electrical Installation Drawings. Often had to go into the cable schedules and pick up the holes in the cable schedules. Our field team had to work with what information we had, using our expertise and experience.

3/2011 – 8/2011 AEROTEK ENERGY SERVICES, A DIVISION OF AEROTEK INC.Contracted to McGraw/Kokosing, Inc. Middletown OH 45044 Electrical Construction Field Engineer at the Sun coke Energy project in Middletown OH. New construction of a state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly; Heat-Recovery Coke Battery capable of producing about 550,000 tons of coke along with 50 MW of Electric Power annually. This facility is located adjacent to AK Steel’s Middletown (OH) Works. “Worked and reported directly to Steve Parr “Kokosing AVP and Construction Site Manager.”

Another fast track project "engineering late and not complete with aggressive construction completion dates. “Writing new cable schedules” with the latest and final elementary, schematic and connection diagrams being received from Jacobs Engineering on a continuous basis during installation of electrical scope. This included Electrical (low and medium voltage switchgear; motor controls; transformers) and I &C. The Turbine and the FGD areas were my main focus of completing all circuits’ w/terminations along with the FGD Hamon Remote I/O-PLC Panel. Ensuring that the new cable database incorporated all new, revised elementary and wiring diagrams on RFC Cable Schedules for installation.

Coordinated and resolved required data from the updated data from the updated database spreadsheets, drawings, EWO’s and RFI’s for the planning and layout of work to complete as directed by the electrical supervision in the field. This information was needed to support the aggressive scheduled milestones for completion of contractual assigned project scope of work.

Generated production installed quantities reports on both a daily and weekly basis. Provided the electrical supervision for the Nitro’ site and project manager with pertinent information needed to support the scheduled milestones for completion of our contractually assigned project scope of work.

Coordinated, resolved and implemented electrical design expertise to provide onsite engineering assistance to assigning cable termination identification from the elementary and connection diagrams and was able to input into the label making process. Therefore, we were able to solve this problem with the cable termination information missing in the database.
