Return to No Man’s Land Saturday 14 March – 12.30-3pm First Floor @ Accrington Library, St James Street, Accrington, BB5 1NQ All timings approximate. Please join us for some or all of the afternoon. Time Activity 12.30 – 3pm Exhibitions o Photographs by Cameron Procter o Truce banners by Hollins Technology College students o ‘Tobacco’ tins by primary school students – based on the ‘gift from the nation’ that all in British uniform received for Xmas 1914, an embossed tobacco tin filled with tobacco, chocolates, cigarette etc. The students have created their own memento tins. o Selected photographs from the project Truce portraits – have a portrait photograph taken by Cameron Procter. Pose alone or with family or friends, we want to capture as many people who participated in Truce as possible. Images will be available to download free following the event. Opportunities to let us know what Truce meant to you (but only if you wish to share!) Collect your copies of the programmes for Rhyme of No Man’s Land and Christmas Truce at Accrington Stanley, plus the Truce badge.
