How many years have you been at camp (camper, SALT, and staff years combined)? This will be year number two! What is your favorite camp memory? Last summer the Choctaws played an Avatar-themed capture the flag game with the boys. It was so much fun! The girls didn’t know the boys were coming until AFTER they had painted themselves blue, so the shock factor was pretty hilarious. I was really proud of them though, they really got into the game and we all had a blast. What is your favorite camp song? Ky-Yi-Kee-I-Kuss What is your favorite camp activity? Sock War. But if I had to pick a second it would be Singspiration and Nibble Nook. Ice Cream is a very important food group. What is your all time favorite book? (Besides the Bible, of course!) Any Harry Potter book. I started the first one when I was 7, and I’ve loved to read ever since. What is your funniest habit? I love to sing things. Sometimes real songs, or sometimes I’ll just narrate whatever I’m doing. What is the coolest place you’ve ever visited? I went to the Grand Opening of Harry Potter World at Universal Studios with my family! We waited in line for six hours before we got in. When we finally walked through the entrance there was this white confetti on the ground they must have released earlier that morning. A gust of wind came and blew the confetti around just as the theme music started to play. It felt like we were in a snow globe and it was magical. I cried a little. When I have an hour of free time, I like to... Go get ice cream with friends! No matter the weather. Share in a few sentences what you are most excited about for summer 2015. I’m so excited for all the new changes camp is undergoing! I can’t wait to see how God moves through this expansion, and I am looking forward to walking alongside both new and returning campers as they experience it. Also, there is nothing quite like summers in the mountains of North Carolina. What is your position at camp this summer?
