Inventory of the element of palm tree has been made and inventory will be made for other existing elements.

1- Palm Tree: Practices, skills, and rituals associated with them

The origin of this tree is in Palestine and it is associated with the Palestinian popular and traditional customs, traditions and practices. Its significance is derived from the fact that the palm tree which "Virgin Mary'' shake is located in Palestine; thus contributing to create a special culture associated with this tree at both the religious and traditional levels. The culture of palm tree is part of the values of hospitality towards guests, and it is also considered a fundamental part of the Palestinian kitchen and the traditional meals. Furthermore, it is considered a primary source of income for many Palestinian families; as several professions and careers have been emerge<.l in this field.

2- Embroidery, Practices, skills,and customs associated with them

It is a remarkable traditional popular art which is represented in women traditional costume in Palestine. The art of embroidery which Palestinian women are skilled at has become an integral part of the Palestinian house's culture and furniture; as it is included in the traditions of furnishing the bride's house, and it has become associated with several social customs, traditions and practices. Moreover, it varies from one area to another in terms of the coordination of colors and drawings; as each geographical area has its own elements, components and ornamental forms which are derived from it, express it and are suitable for it.

3- Nabi Mosa Festival: Practices and rituals associated with them

Several traditional and popular practices and customs in Palestine have been associated with Nabi Mosa tomb "the tomb of Prophet Moses"; as celebrations began under the regime of Salah Eddin Al-Ayoubi. Palestinian from different factions and religions have participated in this festival. On April of each year; Muslims celebrate "Nabi Mosa Festival" and attend the tomb and the mosque belonging to it. Moreover, scout groups and citizens sing the enthusiastic religious songs, starting from" Zaffat Al-Bayariq" and reaching to Al-Aqsa Mosque where the tomb of Salah Eddin Al-Ayoubi exists in order to seek blessing; given that the tomb of Prophet Moses is not located there. In addition to

8- Zajal Poems: Practices, customs and Occasions associated with it.

It is one of the folk arts spread in Palestine; it is a traditional form of spoken-word poetry which is represented in improvisation poems in the form of debate between the reciters of zajal poems. It has a special rhythm with musical instruments, and it is popular in parties to spread joy and happiness, and the arts of"Ataba" and "Mijana" are derived from zajal.

9- Eid Al-Ghtas: Practices, skills, and rituals associated with it.

Several traditional practices of Christian factions have been associated with Eid Al­Ghtas, and it is associated with "Al-Maghtas" which is considered a holy Christian religious place located in Jordan River near to the Palestinian Jericho city. It is one of the most holy and sacred places for Christians, as the Christ was baptized in its water by the priest Yohanna Al-Ma 'madan. Several practices, customs and traditions of the Christian factions in Palestine have been related to this place, as they used to baptize their children in Eid Al-Ghtas in order to gain the blessing of the place. This monastery remained abandoned from 1967 to 1985; as priests have been allowed to enter there once a year in Eid Al-Ghtas. In the fifth century, many churches spread in this region along the borders of th~ east of Jerusalem Mountains reaching to Bani Na'eim in Hebron. A large number of monasteries were also built such as: Deir Hijleh, Deir Mar Saba, Deir Al-Qilt, and Deir Qruntol. This religious place constitutes a significant destination which is visited by the tourists coming to Palestine, and Christian pilgrims also keen on visiting this place to gain the blessing of its sacred water.

10- Groom's procession (Zaffa): Practices, customs and Occasions associated with it. It is one of the folk and traditional practices performed in weddings in the majority of the Palestinian cities and villages. It represents a form of the Palestinian traditional ceremonies and traditions in weddings. Zaffa is characterized with folk songs; as the groom's relatives hold the groom on their shoulders or on the horse's back, and it is accompanied with Dabke, Mijana and Ataba songs and ululation, in the participation of relatives and friends.

11- Arabic Coffee: Practices, customs and rituals associated with it.

Serving coffee to guests is one of the original traditional folk practices and customs; as the Arabic coffee is a symbol of hospitality. The usage of this coffee and people's passion

12- Jameed Yoghurt: Practices, customs and associated with it.

Jameed yoghurt is associated with the culture of food in Palestine in the south and center areas. This kind of food has created a group of customs, traditions, practices and ethics related to generosity and hospitality. It has been also associated with the famous meal "Mansaf'. Moreover, sheep farming and producing Jameed yoghurt from sheep milk has contributed to improve the Palestinian family's income.

13- Henna Party: Practices, customs and rituals associated with it.

It is a party in which the Palestinian popular life is manifested. It is the party which precedes the wedding party "night" and it is popular by its details; as it includes several Palestinian practices, customs and traditions. It is a place for many Palestinian folklore arts including Dabke, Zajal, and ululation. Moreover, the culture of Palestinian traditional costume and cuisine is manifested in this party, and women celebrate in this party and practice certain rituals; mainly putting Henna on the hands of the bride before wedding, and they may also put Henna on one of the groom's hands.

14- Heritage of olive tree: Practices, skills, and rituals associated with them

It is a holy tree for the Palestinians and it is closely associated with the culture of Palestinian cuisine and kitchen and it is associated with the life of Palestinians and their existence in their land, as it is also a fundamental source of income. It constitutes the basic material of many traditional industries such as producing soap, word carving, producing wicker baskets and other industries; thus contributing to the fact that it is associated with several customs, traditions, practices and life rituals as well as many popular songs and proverbs and traditional medicine.

15- Grapevine heritage: Practices, skills, and rituals associated with them.

It is one of the trees spread in the south of Palestine. It requires a lot of attention and has contributed to create clear popular (folk) culture through the folk practices, customs, traditions, proverbs and songs, as well as its role in traditional medicine. It has also contributed to increase the income of the Palestinian family; and it has provided food security in winter as the Palestinian kitchen is rich with molasses, Turkish delight and grape jam, which are foods made of grapes by using the traditional popular ways.

16- Palestinian Musakhan: Practices, skills,and customs associated with it.

It is part of the cuisine culture in the Palestinian kitchen and its ingredients are derived from the Palestinian environment. It is made of bread, onions, olive oil, sumac which grows in the wild areas, as well as chicken, roasted almonds. Special customs and

traditions associated with this meal have emerged; particularly the custom of hospitality towards guests.

17- Mijwiz and Yarghoul: Practices, skills,and Occasions associated with them.

They are traditional popular musical instruments which resemble the flute/pipe. They have been an integral part of the culture of Palestinian popular music, and have accompanied the songs of "Ataba" and "Mijana". The musical instruments are considered a cultural heritage which implies several meanings. They are also known as "the instruments of the poor"; as they are made of reeds sticks which exist in the Palestinian wild areas and used by shepherds for grazing cattle.

18- Kufiya (Hattah): Practices, customs and associated with it.

It is a traditional head dress typically wom by Palestinian fanners/men, and it has become a symbol of the Palestinian identity. Wearing Kufiya has become popular among the Palestinians since 1936, and it is made of black and white checkered pattern, and it is worn on the head and is held in place by a circlet of rope called (Agal).
