Hiking

There are nice mellow walks leaving right from downtown Revelstoke along the Greenbelt River Trails. With multiple access and exit points, these trails can be walked for as long as time permits and are great for birdwatching. If you’re looking for something slightly more off the beaten path, the Sutherland Falls Hiking Trail at Blanket Creek is a great option. This short trail is an easy grade hike leading to a spectacular viewpoint that should take no more than 5 minutes to complete one way.

For the recreationalist, we recommend the Begbie Falls/Creek Trails. From the parking area on Highway 23 south, this trail takes you through a beautiful forest, mostly following Begbie Creek. Keep to the main trail, away from the bluffs. Once you’ve arrived to the Recreation Site, you are a short and steep 15 minute hike away from the falls. We recommend heading down to the rocky beach and Revelstoke flats for a beautiful vantage point of the Columbia River and the Selkirk Mountain Range.

For advanced hikers, we recommend Mount Begbie - Revelstoke’s iconic peak (pictured above). The trail is steep, with few views most of the way. This trail is not for the faint of heart, but well worth the effort when you arrive to the foot of the glacier. Please be aware that mountaineering skills (and gear) are required to cross the glacier and complete the final ascent.

From short river valley flats, to long alpine ridges, Revelstoke is a hiker’s paradise. We are home to the only inland temperate rainforest in the world.

National Parks - FREE in 2017!

Mount Revelstoke National Park has many awesome low-key experiences. Beginner hikers can easily access the subalpine backcountry from the Meadows in the Sky Parkway. New this year is a fun and interactive Kids Bike Park, as well as the “Nels Knickers” exhibit - we guarantee a view over town unlike any other!

Glacier National Park is home to the Rogers Pass Discovery Centre, a replica of a historic railway snowshed. An essential place to start or end your day, this recently-renovated information centre features a theatre and exhibits about the triumphs and tragedies behind the building of Canada’s first trans-continental railway.

Mount Revelstoke National Park is a hiker’s park. Recreational hikers will enjoy the many opportunities to access the alpine from the summit. Take a cruise through the meadows on one of the many walking paths; Balsam Lake, Eagle Knoll, Koo Koo Sint, Heather Lake, or First Footsteps.

In Glacier National Park, the Columbia Mountains are steep and the valleys narrow, allowing for only a few easy hikes and a good number of difficult ones. If you are up for the challenge, head to Marion Lake - a steep forested hike along the first leg of the Abbott Ridge Trail. Once there, if you still have momentum, continue up the Abott Ridge trail to alpine tundra that ends on a narrow ridge. The views are out of this world!

Mount Revelstoke National Park offers some great full day excursions for the avid hiker. Take the trail out to Miller and Eva Lakes (5.5 and 6km one-way respectively). If you have the energy, continue on to Jade Lakes (a 9km one-way hike).

Glacier National Park offers a ton of mountaineering adventures for those with the know-how. The famed Mount Sir Donald is a local favorite amongst experienced climbers. For more hiking and National Parks information, pick up a Hiking Guide from the Revelstoke Visitor Information Centre at 301 Victoria Road West

Two national parks sit at our doorstep: Mount Revelstoke and Glacier, offering sightseeing opportunities for all walks of life. Gather your family and circle the trunk of an ancient rainforest tree. Stand on a mountain summit after a drive up the spectacular Meadows in the Sky Parkway. In 2017, we are celebrating Canada’s 150th birthday and Parks Canada is providing free entry to all parks!

Biking

For the beginner rider, head out to Mount Revelstoke National park and spin your wheels on the Soren Sorenson 2k or 5k loop. This double track trail will get you comfortable in your saddle before hitting the Macpherson single track. For the little ones in your wolf pack, there is a brand new kids bike park adjacent the parking lot that features a series of obstacles to navigate; including weaving through fake animal droppings, going up a beaver tail log, around salamander banked corners, and spiraling in and out of a slug.

When you’ve got that mastered, head over to the Mount Macpherson trail network and try the stimulus loop; a green trail with a nice flow, friendly grade, and a few rocky sections and bridges to test your wits. For more skill improvement, hire a guide to show you the ropes and improve your technique.

World class trail networks can be found on all sides of the valley bottom. Intermediate shuttle access freeride trails snake through mid-mountain elevations. Up high, you’ll find our signature alpine trails.

For the recreational rider, head out early to Mt. Macpherson for a quick spin on over 40km of single track trails. Flowdown is a great trail that was built buff and fast.

After your morning pedal, head up to the classic Frisby Ridge XC trail. This smooth out-and-back trail climbs through forests and alpine meadows for 11km before dropping down to a small alpine lake and cabin. You’ll want to make sure you revel in the 360 degree views before your fast and flowy descent. Advanced intermediates may want to continue on to the steep and technical Frisby DH trail to keep shredding.

For more biking information, pick up a trail map from the Revelstoke Visitor Information Centre at 301 Victoria Road West and check out www.bikerevelstoke.org

Start your morning with some downhill shuttle laps at Boulder Mountain, Revelstoke’s freeride playground. There are approximately a dozen trails which offer a variety of wooden features, jumps, drops, steeps, and high speed flow. Try our brand new jump trail - The Rooster. This fast and fun trails offers up spectacular views of the valley below.

Once you’ve had your DH fill, head out to Keystone Standard Basin, another alpine gem. More technical than Frisby, Keystone is an out-and-back trail that challenges riders with a steep climb right out of the gates. The trail ascends into some of the best alpine single track and awe-inspiring scenery in the world. Be prepared to be challenged and be prepared for emergencies. You’re a long way from help on this trail and there is no cell phone service.

Revelstoke is a biking mecca with hundreds of kilometers of sweet single-track and alpine scenery second to none. Throw in some great road riding routes, and you’ve got something for every type of rider.

Dirt Biking

The Revy Riders Dirt bike Club’s trail system and tracks are conveniently located just 10 km north of downtown Revelstoke.

Kids and beginners can warm up with some laps on the separate beginner specific track. Once you’ve had your fill of the track, novice riders should check out “Kick Start” or “Easy Street.”

If you’re just coming to watch the action, the staging area hosts a viewing platform for spectators. There is a kiosk which has maps on all riding areas.

There are over 75 kms (and growing) of incredible dirt bike specifically built trails, all located in one convenient location at the end of the paved Westside Road.

The trail network features two main separate riding areas, the original Lower Frisby trails and the Deadman’s Creek trails. Each have incredible riding, spectacular views, and as challenging of trails as you desire.

Intermediate riders should check out “Ego Trip” - a huge hit on the Lower Frisby network.

Start with some warm up laps on the full sized Motocross track. Once you’ve reached expert status, the long and very challenging “Rowlands Revenge” will give you what you desire with it’s relentless features and amazing views.

For more dirt bikinginformation, pick up a Dirt Biking Map from the Revelstoke Visitor Information Centre at 301 Victoria Road West and check out www.revyriders.com

Stop in at Valhalla Pure for a Revelstoke Rocks Guidebook, written by local climber, Ruedi Beglinger. Some crags aren’t well signed, and this book has excellent information on how to get there. For a kid (and dog) friendly area, head out to Shaketown on Hwy 23 South. It provides easy access, and is a great place to enjoy a picnic lunch - full of short single pitch sport climbing and socializing. Try your hand at “Quicksilver Daydreams” 5.10b, “Two Hands” 5.11a, and “Flying Shoes” 5.11b.

Without the gear and the knowhow, it’s pretty hard to start out in this sport. We recommend taking a lesson or a course, and let the experts show you the ropes, literally.

Intermediate climbers will enjoy a morning at Begbie Bluffs, 10 minutes out of town on Hwy 23 South. A short walk on a well-defined trail will have you climbing in no time. For easier routes, hit “High and Dry” or “Bifacial Retouch” - both rated 5.8.

Further down on Hwy 23 South, you’ll find Blanket Canyon/Blanket Creek Bridge; which is exactly where you want to be on a hot summer day. There is a steep 5 minute hike-in which is not suitable for kids or dogs. At Blanket Canyon, locals love “Schweppes” 5.10a, “Zygote” 5.11b, and “Security Blanket” 5.12b. At Blanket Creek Bridge, we recommend “Undercover” 5.10 and “Electric Blanket” 5.11b.

For more information, get in touch with the Revelstoke Climbing Co-op and check out www.revelstokerockclimbing.com.

Waterworld (pictured above), offers 2-4 pitch adventurous steep sport climbs over top of Revelstoke Lake. Just 12 km out of town on Hwy 23 N, and a 5 minute walk in, these climbs range from 5.10b - 5.12a. Take caution of potential rock fall and always wear a helmet. Be sure to choose a climb well within your means, as you rappel down and then climb back out. We recommend “Pirates of Waterworld” 5.10b and “No Panic In The Titanic” 5.11b.

Revelstoke climbing is known for its easily accessible single pitch sport climbing on steep rock. Most routes range from 5.8 - 5.12.

Water Adventures

If you’re looking for a soft adventure suitable for all ages and abilities, jump on a kayak tour with Natural Escapes. The Panoramic Lake and Mountain Views tour takes paddlers to a unique lake and river system surrounded by spectacular views of the mountains and valley. Bring a picnic lunch and head to Martha Creek Provincial Park. There is a pebbly beach with a large shoreline to explore and a great playground with scenery that can’t be beat. The water is cool, clear, and oh so refreshing! For a warmer water experience, head to Williamson Lake; perfect for all ages with picnic tables, a sandy beach, and dock.

Rent a paddleboard in the calm of the morning from one of our providers and choose Lake Revelstoke, the Columbia River, or Upper Arrow Lake to launch. If you’re new to the sport, taking a lesson is always a good idea. These areas are also popular with anglers, power boaters, canoers, and kayakers. Canoe and kayak rentals are available from a variety of providers; waterfalls, eddies, nooks and crannies are waiting to be explored.

If you prefer to captain your own ship, white water kayaking could be the adventure for you. Revelstoke offers everything from the class II section of the Lower Jordan River, to the rowdy class IV-V sections of the Illecillewaet’s Box Canyon, the Upper Jordan, and the Pingston River. Blanket Creek’s iconic 60 foot Sutherland Falls is not for the faint of heart, or the inexperienced. After your day of adventure, spend the evening in a relaxing Paddleboard Yoga class on Williamson Lake.

Get your fishing license dialed in! Purchase at Service BC in the Revelstoke Courthouse or online at www.fishing.gov.bc.ca. Watch for changes in regulations, as they are updated frequently.

Warm up your rod at Williamson Lake (1) in southern Revelstoke. This small 3.9 hectare lake makes a nice urban fishery. Since 2009, rainbow have been stocked here on an annual basis.

Head out to Lake Revelstoke (2), a large reservoir created by the Revelstoke Dam. Over 140 km long, this lake holds seven varieties of fish including Bull Trout (dolly Varden), Rainbow Trout, Kokanee, Rocky Mountain Whitefish, Burbot (ling cod), and Sturgeon.

The Arrow Lakes (3) are a reservoir on the Columbia River that start at the narrows near East Arrow Park and stretch north to Revelstoke. There is highway access along its entire length with resorts, campsites and boat launches.

For river fishing, the Goldstream (4) is a great option. Found on the lonely stretch of highway between Revelstoke and Mica Creek, anglers will find rainbow trout to test their luck.

Closer to Revelstoke, the Jordan River (5) flows south into the Columbia River. The upper reaches of the river offer fair fishing. An intensive stocking program has helped the fish stocks; however the river has special regulations. Getting into the open stretch of river requires a long and difficult bushwhack.

Revelstoke and the surrounding area has over 80 lakes that anglers can choose from. If you prefer to fish in rivers, creeks and streams, we offer 200+ options within 50 km.

Resort Skiing & Snowboarding

Start your day at the Turtle Creek Beginner Area or The Little Bit. After mastering your turns, the lower runs from Revelation Lodge are great for skill progression. The easiest runs down are Tickle Trunk and the Last Spike, both of which are wide with gentle gradients. The next challenge lies at the top of the Revelation Gondola towards last spike. Once you’ve mastered that, take the Stoke Chair and try our newest green run from the top!

A A new kid-focused fun-trail will excite the little ones as they make their way through the trees beside the terrain park. At the base area, give the new Turtle Creek Bungee Bounce a try or enjoy the tube park. Kids will also enjoy Kids ROC, which features fun play structures, crafts, and a variety of games that are geared towards ages 6 - 12. Kids’ lessons are available for skiers & snowboarders up to age of 12, with both half and full day options available.

With 46% blue runs, Revelstoke is anintermediate skier’s playground! We’ve also added a new more efficient cat to our fleet which means our legendary groomed runs will be better than ever for the 2016-17 season.

A lesson with a pro will get you started off on the right foot and will help you to find your way around 3,121 acres of terrain. Stop for lunch at the Mackenzie Outpost and enjoy a Bruce Burger or warm bowl of chili on the patio.

Spend the afternoon practicing your good habits. The top pitches of Snow Rodeo, Feller Buncher, and Wooley Bully are wide and include some fun rollers to improve your speed control. If at any point the run becomes too steep you can cut back to the Last Spike, which weaves its way down the entire mountain. Try the classic top-to bottom, any way you choose!

Once the burn in your legs just won’t quit, you’ll have earned your après at The Mackenzie Common Tavern. Make sure to try the signature ugly sweater cocktail.

RMR has a reputation for attracting those seeking the steep and deep. With stunning glades, gnarly chutes, endless powder, and 47% black+ terrain, there is a reason why pros come back each year (or live here).

On a powder day, head to North Bowl as soon as the area opens. You might spot some locals heading into “3 Bears.” You won’t find it on a trail map so you need a guide or friendly local to get to the best terrain. Continue on to test your stamina with a Greely Bowl lap. Hike up to the sub peak, enjoy the views, and head down the back through Powder Assault; take a swift right and pop out into Greely Bowl. Continue through Beauty Glades, and end at the Ripper Chair for some respite.

In the afternoon, work on your goggle tan with sunshine laps in the 14- acre terrain park; over 20 new and improved jib features under the Stoke Chair.

Boasting the most vertical in North America (5620 feet), and the only resort world-wide to offer lift, cat, heli, and backcountry from one village base, RMR offers skiers and snowboarders access to 515,000 acres of terrain.

Helicopter & Cat Skiing

Warm up with a day on-resort, and get a head start on your off-piste adventure with a Cat/Heli preparation course. Lessons are available for skiers, snowboarders, and tele markers, aged 12+.

Once you’ve got your legs under you, book a day-trip with any of the cat ski operations around town. Either join a group as a solo, or talk to the company about filling a cat with a group of friends. Click into a pair of fat skis or strap on a powder board (rentals included in most tours) and enjoy endless powdery descents.

With a day of powder skiing under your belt, you’re ready for a heli adventure! Selkirk Tangiers offers a great single day package for first time heli skiers. The “3 Run Powder Excursion” is all about an introduction to heli skiing and a full day spent getting to know the mountains.

For a more intimate experience, STHS and Eagle Pass offer one day trips in smaller birds, with smaller groups. Since you’re guaranteed 6-8 runs daily, we recommend this trip for high intermediates or advanced skiers and riders.

Once you’ve fallen in love with heli skiing (and believe us, it won’t take long), you’ll want to save your pennies for a multi-day trip. With four heli ski operations ready to whisk you away, it’s no wonder Revelstoke is named the heli ski capital of the world!

If you like the luxury of a lodge, we recommend Eagle Pass or Mica Heli Skiing. If you’d prefer to be closer to the action downtown, CMH Revelstoke and Selkirk Tangiers has you covered! No matter who you choose, we’re pretty sure you won’t regret it!

With the world’s best companies offering guided access to three famous mountain ranges, it’s no coincidence that Revelstoke is known as the ultimate cat and heli ski destination for powder enthusiasts around the globe.

Abundance and variety are both blessings and challenges for backcountry tourists in the Columbia Ranges. For those looking to advance their skills, an Avalanche Skills Training (AST) course provides a good base of knowledge. Revelstoke Mountain Resort hosts a few of these courses each season, as the backcountry terrain surrounding the resort is second to none. Greely Trees (on the outskirts of Greely Bowl) is a great place to get some powder turns. Bring all your gear for out-of-bounds travel.

Glacier National Park is the Shangri-La for experienced ski tourists. Stop in at the Rogers Pass Discovery Centre to learn about the areas which are restricted or prohibited by the Park’s highway avalanche control program, and to get permits for areas which may be open that day. If you have the fitness, the Seven Steps of Paradise are considered one of the 50 classic ski descents in North America! As part of Canada’s 150th birthday, all National Parks are free in 2017, so get out there and enjoy!

Backcountry Touring

Before heading out for a day in the mountains, make sure you and your group have the appropriate equipment, knowledge, know-how, and information about the snowpack, avalanche conditions, and weather. We highly recommend hiring a professional guide to help you out! A good zone for first time backcountry enthusiasts is at Mount Macpherson. The fingers are ideal for a shorter day or multiple descents. For access, park at the Nordic ski lodge ($5) and follow the Main Loop to Mountain Climb Trail. Turn left - the cross country ski trail ends with a bridge crossing and the uphill track starts from there.

Revelstoke is a backcountry touring mecca. Our combination of location, terrain, and weather, ensures there is something for everyone, and plenty of it.

Grab Fido and head for a quick lap around our popular dog loop along BCIT and Roadway Ramble. This is an off-leash area, but we ask that dogs be under control at all times and that owners pick up after their pet!

Put your dog back in your vehicle, and try out the perimeter loop: clockwise beginning with Mickey’s Loop, Main Loop, Loggers Lane, and Hydro Way, making your way back via Beaver Lake, Easy Al’s, and Roadway Ramble.

For more nordic skiing information, pick up a Nordic Skiing Trail Map from the Revelstoke Visitor Information Centre at 301 Victoria Road West and check out www.revelstokenordic.org

The Revelstoke Nordic Ski Club can trace its roots back to 1891. Today, the club is a registered non-profit organization. Almost all of the services provided by the club are accomplished by the hundreds of volunteer hours of its members. There is a day fee to use these trails.

Take a morning group or private lesson with our in-house Nordic coach to hone your skills and learn new techniques. Contact [email protected] to book. Rentals are available at the Nordic Lodge, and offered at various local Nordic retailers downtown.

Show up after dark and ski our six kilometers of newly lit trails. If that’s not enough action, put a headlamp and picnic dinner in your backpack and head up to the Old Sandberg cabin, via the main loop. If a serious workout is what you’re craving, we recommend adding “Hydro Hill” into the mix.

Looking for some healthy competition? The Revelstoke Nordic Ski Club presents Headlamp Heroes, a Wednesday night race series. Check www.revelstokenordic.org for race dates.

The Mount Macpherson trail system is home to 26 kilometers of trails - groomed for both classic and skate, including 6km of lit trails for night skiing. The trailhead is 7km south of Revelstoke on Hwy 23.

Family Fun

Summer: On a hot day, nothing beats the local swimming hole at Williamson’s Lake. Another great new option is the River Pirates– a theatre adventure on water! West of town, we recommend SkyTrek, The Enchanted Forest, and Three Valley Gap; these activity spots are great for kids of all ages with varying degrees of adventure.

Winter: Start at Turtle Creek at Revelstoke Mountain Resort, which features a magic carpet for beginner skiers, and a fun tubing area. After a day outdoors, hit the Revelstoke Aquatic Centre - a world class facility with a beautiful pool, slide, hot tub, sauna, steam room, and lazy river.

Summer: Mt. Revelstoke National Park is a great hiking spot for all ages. The 26km drive brings you to the alpine at the top of the mountain, where you can hike as long or little as you like. In the afternoon, bring a picnic to Martha Creek Provincial Park, 17km north on Hwy 23. Explore the large shoreline and enjoy a great playground with scenery that can’t be beat!

Winter: Round up the GT racers and head out to the Mount Revelstoke Nels Nelsen ski jump area. Head over to the hut for a great toboggan run. In the evening, rent a pair of snowshoes and take the gang on a moonlight tour of the Greenbelt.

Summer: A family visit here just wouldn’t be complete without a lap on Revelstoke Mountain Resort’s newest attraction, The Pipe Mountain Coaster. For a different type of ride, Mount Macpherson offers a two wheeled mountain biking experience - try Stimulus, Dusty Beaver, or the new Mount Revelstoke National Park kids bike park (pictured above).

Winter: Nordic skiing at Mt Macpherson is a great family activity. Bring some hot chocolate in a thermos for a treat at the Sandberg Cabin. In the evening, take in a Grizzlies game, it is great hockey and is just as much fun to watch the fans made up of skiers from all over the world!

The magnificent mountain scenery and enormous amount of snowfall has put us on the map, but there are so many more attractions that make Revelstoke one of the best places to live, explore, and experience with your family.

Page 34: Revelstoke Experience Guide 2016

We’ve teamed up with a crew of local Revelstoke Ambassadors to spread #TheRealStoke. Find out why they’ve decided to put down roots here.

Nadine Overwater - Winter Snowmobiling

Chris Rubens - Winter Alpine Skiing

Christina Lustenberger - Winter Backcountry

Bruno Long - Summer Trail Running

Casey Brown - Summer Mountain Biking

One of my favorite sled adventures is venturing into Eagle Pass from the Revelstoke side – this is a fun little tour that has all kinds of amazing terrain. You can get in from Turtle Mountain (same parking lot as Boulder) and end up in Eagles Pass. I recommend packing spare fuel, especially when the snow is deep. It’s hard not to play around in the hundred zones you pass through on the trek. So go explore! Afterwards, I always head to the Big Eddy Pub for some grub and great local beer on tap. It is my favorite place to wrap up a fun day of shredding and you’re bound to run into others who are keen to swap adventure stories!

There are so many great places to ski at Revelstoke Mountain Resort, it’s hard to quantify a favorite run! Start out on Separate Reality, then head into North Bowl. Unlimited Assets can be a bit tricky to get into, but once you are in there is normally some great snow waiting for you. Or, take the higher traverse into Sweet Spot, a hard skiers left here will bring you to Dexter’s (sorry, you won’t find that name on the map)! This is some of the best steep fall line skiing on the mountain. If you want to get some more exercise, head to the Sub Peak for a stiff boot pack with an amazing view. From here the options are limitless.

Living in Revelstoke I’m fortunate to have favorite backcountry ski zones in every direction. Some of my most memorable alpine ski lines have been in Rogers pass. High alpine, big glaciers, and steep peaks right from your truck. Although, if I’m searching for storm-day tree skiing, I usually go straight for the steep and deep Monashee mountains. Long pillow lines in big cedar old growth is never a bad way to spend a day. The options are endless around Revelstoke, with new places to explore every year! This is why I call Revelstoke home!

When trying to decide on where to go for a trail run in Revelstoke, there is one major problem that plagues our town: Too many options! Riddled with trails for every type of runner, you may find yourself at the local coffee shop trying to pick between something that starts right outside the door (5km loop near the base of Mt Revelstoke), a couple hour jaunt through old growth forests (Mt. MacPherson trail network), or maybe an all-day alpine epic (Frisby Ridge or Keystone Standard Basin) that will have you dreaming, and your legs screaming, for the hot tub afterwards. Whatever you choose to do, you definitely won’t be disappointed.

Mountain biking in Revelstoke has exploded in the last few years. We have heaps of options for every ability. If you’re here for just a quick stop and want to play it safe, Flowdown on Mount Macpherson is one of my all-time favorites - a 1.5 hour out and back. Hungry for more? Macpherson has hours of fun and plenty of well-marked trails. For the more adventurous; Keystone Standard Basin opens mid-summer, and is an epic 24 km round trip through alpine meadows and glacial moraine – a must do for you keeners! Boulder Mountain is a mecca for the gravity-hungry, DH riders, with “The Rooster” being our go-to trail for mega air-time.

These guidelines have been designed to help you apply our identity coherently and consistently. A strong identity is a powerful tool, it helps build awareness. However, care must be taken with our appearance and tone to ensure our core message is maintained across all mediums. A lot of thought and effort has gone into the design of our our identity; do not attempt to re-create these elements.

Please read these guidelines carefully, then apply them consistently to all the materials you produce. Please use our identity sensibly, following the simple rules laid out in these guidelines at all times. Always use the approved artwork, and always follow these rules when using it.

CRAZY CREEK IDENTITY STANDARDS

OUR LOGOThis is our primary logo. The graphic reresentation of the falls evokes the raw energy of the natural surroundings of Crazy Creek Resort.

CLEAR SPACEOur brand needs space to breathe, to set it apart, to stand out. To protect the clarity and visual integrity of the logo, an area of protection directly surrounding the logo has been defined. No text or graphic elements should encroach into this area. The space around the logo is defined by using the height of a letter as a standard unit of measurement, indicated here as ‘X’.

MINIMUM SIZEWe have established a minimum size for our identity to help it stand out as much as possible. While the minimum size shown here should accommodate most applications and reproduction techniques, make sure that our identity is never smaller than what can be clearly executed. Applica-tions such as the web, signage or merchandise may require larger sizes.

COLOUR PALETTEWherever possible, it is preferable to print the logo in special colours. The Pantone© Matching System allows us to specify an exact colour.

Our primary colours are bold and straightforward. They represent the Crazy Creeks identity at its most basic level - the rich, navy blue signifying strength and energy and light blue reflecting a flowing rhythm. In fact, these are the only colours that may be used to reproduce our wordmark. The Crazy Creek brand utilizes a a dark and light blue colour palette. Using other brand elements and photography offers a layered and deep warmth to collateral material.

LIGHT BLUE NAVY BLUE

ONE COLOUR / REVERSE REPRESENTATIONThe one-colour version of our identity is used for applica-tions and collateral where the layout needs to be simple and focused without too many colour variations. The one-colour version may also be used to enhance particular design concepts. When placed on a dark background, the one-colour identity uses 100% white for the wordmark. On a light background, black may be used.

TYPOGRAPHYThere are several reasons why we’ve chosen Vive la Rivolu-zione for our primary typeface. Strong yet friendly, it helps us communicate ideas in a straight forward, confident manner. It exhibits a hand-made bold look and feel and lends itself well to headlines.
