Benefits at a Glance: RDPS Reverse Denied Party Screening PRODUCT DATASHEET RDPS provides a single uniform resource that screens your trading partners (customers, vendors, partners, etc.) against global government-provided lists of denied/ restricted parties, known or suspected terrorists or terrorist organizations, along with many other recommended watch lists (domestic and international) valuable for due diligence and “Know Your Customer” procedures, and provides email alert notifications if/ when a potential match is identified. Traditionally, denied/restricted party screening is performed by sequentially comparing the individual (customer, vendor, trading partner, etc.) names that are party to each international business transaction against the various denied/restricted entity lists maintained by governments throughout the world. Within the sales/shipment cycle process, when and how often the name(s) are screened is usually dictated by the workflow process and compliance procedures established by each business organization, but it is typically at least twice, at the time the order is placed and again when it is shipped. Kewill’s Reverse Denied Party Screening (RDPS) system streamlines this process through a unique approach. First, your trading partner list is screened against all existing denied party content to ensure compliance. Thereafter, whenever there are new additions to government denied party lists, these additions are immediately screened against your trading partner database. Subsequent email alert notifications are distributed ONLY if/when a new potential denied/ restricted party match is identified to specific contacts within your database(s). This process virtually eliminates the need to screen individual parties on a transaction by transaction basis, minimizing the impact on the workflow associated with order/ shipment processing. Key Advantages of RDPS: Eliminates duplicate screening of trading partners, and alerts you to potential compliance issues immediately, BEFORE you complete or enter into a new business transaction. How does it work? 1 - Upload your “trading partners” contacts into the RDPS database 2 - Those contacts are screened against current denied party content 3 - When a potential match is found, designated personnel are immediately notified via email Ongoing - as denied/restricted party lists are updated, these changes (the delta of the lists) are compared against your contact database Ongoing - new trading partner contacts can be added automatically (from your ERP) or manually (via webpage or CSV upload) RDPS can either be licensed and hosted behind your firewall, or hosted at Kewill’s secure data center. 24/7 compliance coverage Automate & streamline regulatory compliance & logistics processes Interface with host system to leverage existing data (eliminate duplicate data entry & keystroke errors) Ensure compliance with government regulations Mitigate trade compliance risks (penalties, fines, limitation of export privileges, negative publicity, etc.) Increase efficiency of trade operations Expedite cross-border clearance of goods Maintain Audit Trail Enhance supply chain security
