This novel is reportedly the authors memory of his childhood and all

the real culprit is Laskar Pelangi is his childhood friends while attending school in

a poor village Belitong.But it is not mentioned explicitly in the novel by Andrea

Hirata that this is a true story.

Starting at SD Muhammadiyah schools in Belitong village with very

limited facilities even minus,open enrollment for new students are first
