FILM REVIEW After looking at the conventions of film

reviews I felt ready enough to create our own review.

To create our review, I used Photoshop as this gave me all the tools to create a review of professional quality.

MAGIC ERASER TOOL

• As I got this image from a Google search, I had to remove the excess white of the image.

• I used the Magic Eraser tool to do this.

EDITING THE LAYERS

To add depth to the text features, I added shadows and outer glows to make them stand out on the page and attract the reader’s eye.

FIRST DRAFT

This was the first draft that I showed a group of students to gain their reaction.

AFTER AUDIENCE REACTION After taking on board my audience reaction, I made the

corrections they suggested and a few of my own ideas.

LAYOUT

I was unsure how to layout the images, but after consideration as a group and using the conventions I decided to go with the layout on the left. This is because I wanted the main image to be at the start of the article as it explains a lot of the narrative. Also, the emotional images on the right are the first thing the reader sees when they turn the page, therefore it attracts their interest as to why the characters look like they do.
