Review Report: A unit in STEM where review reports can be posted for SDLC Phase artifacts

Areas Of review: Major reviews in SDLC are : SRS and IAD in requirements phase; Technical Document review in Design Phase; Coding review in Development Phase Testing Scenarios / Test cases review in Testing Phase.

Review Type: User can choose the type of review from the dropdown list to perform review.

IAD Document Review

IAD Review: Once the details regarding the type of review, project, module, date , req id is entered, then the user is allowed to create a new review report by clicking on “New” option.

Review Comments: Reviewer has to enter the review comments for which the criteria is selected as fail. Once the comments are updated “Submit” has to be selected.

Generation of RR: On clicking the submit button the review report is saved and review report id is generated as “RRxxx”. Consolidated result possessing number of pass and failure are described. Reviewer has to assign the result to the respective reviewee user by clicking on “Post Review Report to JTRAC”.

Post Review Report To JTRAC: IAD Review comments will be updated in selected CRM jtrac id along with the project name, module name, req id, review plan.

Jtrac Defect Log: Every failed case will be logged in internal testing bug workspace of the selected project henceforth reducing the time to log bug in jtrac. Bug and review report can be posted only by the user who submits the review report.

SRS Doc Review

SRS Review: Once the details regarding the type of review, project, module, date , req id is entered, then the user is allowed to create a new review report by clicking on “New” option.

Review Comments: Reviewer has to enter the comments if any description is subjected to fail during the review of documents. Once the comments are updated “Submit” has to be selected.

Generation of RR: As soon as “Submit” is clicked STEM generates an id “RR”. Consolidated result possessing number of pass and failure are described. Reviewer has to assign the result to a concerned user by clicking on “Post Review Report to JTRAC”.

View Review Report: Review once done can never be altered but can be seen for verification motive. Review report can be opened with the help of Review report id generated at the time of submission.

Excel Report: Review report can be exported to excel sheet by clicking on “Export Excel”.
