Film Tampa Bay represents one of the top markets within the state of Florida. Production activity numbers are in the hundreds over the course of the year. The Production Coordinator will play a key roll in interfacing with governmental organizations and departments to ensure film productions have the necessary support and permissions to film safely and efficiently while within the county.
Film Tampa Bay is currently seeking a skilled and competent full-time Production Coordinator to assist production permitting and logistics on behalf of Hillsborough County and its various municipalities. The position ensures customer service excellence and that all productions proceed smoothly, with a focus on logistical needs and timely responses.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate technical needs for �lm and still photography productions, ensure timely logistic support and communi-cations .Assist with permit requirements and permissions per County/City guidelines as provided by municipal ordinances. Assist with location recommendations, and �lming inquiries.Provide daily social media support and community outreach.
REQUIREMENTS:
Working knowledge of all areas of technical production, including logistics and location management.Bachelors Degree preferred with three years’ experience as a production assistant or coordinator. Pro�cient computer skills to include working knowledge of word processing and excel.Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be self-motivated, show initiative, and work well as part of a team in a deadline-driven environment.
