ELIGIBILITY Applicants to the Nemak Achievers Scholarship must: • Be a graduating high school seniors from Sheboygan North High School or Sheboygan South High School, or a graduating senior who is a resident of Sheboygan, WI. • Enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited four-year college or university based in the U.S for the entire 2017-2018 academic year. Non-accredited and online schools are not eligible. • Major in a course of study that focuses on Engineering/Automotive/Manufacturing. • Demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career in the automotive/manufacturing industry. • Be U.S. citizens or legally authorized to work in the United States. AWARD CRITERIA Scholarship recipients are selected based on the following criteria: • Demonstrate academic achievement via school transcripts - minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 on 4.0 scale. • Completed 500-word typed essay on “Why are you interested in a career in the automotive manufacturing industry?” • A letter of recommendation. • Participation and leadership activity in your community, school, and work experience. • Completed Nemak Achievers Scholarship application. • Proof of acceptance to a four-year degree program before receiving award. Scholarship award is conditional upon acceptance and completion of 6-week paid Nemak Achievers summer internship. Selection of recipient is made by Nemak at its discretion. All scholarship recipients may be subject to a criminal background check. Recipients of the Nemak Achievers scholarship must comply with Nemak policies and procedures and shall not commit any act that indicates dishonesty or moral turpitude or that otherwise could materially injure Nemak’s reputation. If a prohibited act is committed by a Nemak Achievers Scholarship recipient, the Nemak scholarship award shall immediately be revoked. AWARD DETAILS The Nemak Achievers summer internship renewal is contingent upon satisfactory internship performance and maintaining a cumulative 3.0 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale). The $3,500 scholarship can be used toward the total cost of tuition, fees, books, supplies, required equipment, room and board and other allowable expenses. Awards are for undergraduate study only. APPLICATION DEADLINEThe completed application, typed essay, letter of recommendation, and transcript must be received by the Nemak Wisconsin Scholarship coordinator no later than Friday, March 31, 2017. (postmarked no later than March 31, 2017). It is the sole responsibility of the applicant to take the necessary action and precautions to insure that the completed application packet is received by the deadline.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS• Applicants must review and be able to meet the eligibilty criteria described above. • In order for an application to be deemed complete, all application fields must be completed, and the essay must be included as described in the application. No omissions are acceptable. • A letter of recommendation must be submitted in support of this application. The recommender should provide his/her contact information. Please make sure the Scholarship Applicant‘s name is clearly noted on the letter of recommendation submitted.• Each applicant must submit official unopened academic transcripts. • The completed application, typed essay, letter of recommendation, and an academic transcript must be mailed in one envelope to the Nemak Wisconsin Scholarship Coordinator, Thomas Bair, HR Manager, and postmarked no later than March 31, 2017.

NOTIFICATIONAll applicants will be notified of their application status in late-April via email communication and/or an addressed letter. Nemak does not assume responsibility for errors in postal delivery.

PAYMENT OF SCHOLARSHIPThe scholarship amount will be made available in August 2017. Checks will be mailed to the recipient's home address and made payable to the college the recipient will be attending.
