Supplying consultants on an as needed basis is what we do. We can assemble a team of resources for a larger project or can assign an individual resource for a specific engagement. Our consultants are flexible to work on-site or remote as the projects dictate. We do not charge a monthly or yearly fee for support. You only pay for the resources when you need them to work on your projects. Per the information provided, we assume that the majority of the work will be performed remotely and if there is a need to travel to be on-site we will bill the travel expenses separately.

A larger part of my time was spent on developing the 410 report (also called SOS “Sales Order Shortage” report). Used it to prioritize work orders and to determine which orders can be staged for shipping each day. The report is submitted from a selection application I designed and developed after users complained that updating the processing options and data selection for each report was too cumbersome

6.1 Does Responder require a minimum number of hours for each project?

Simacor does not require a minimum number of hours for a project. Some of our client’s will simply need an answer to a quick question. While others need a project completed that will take months. For project based work, we do want to plan ahead and schedule the right resource (s) for the project. Your Account Manager, Jamie Hakes will be your point of contact and will work with you to schedule these projects and resources accordingly.

She identified tables for conversion from World to E1, cross mapped data and worked closely with IT on conversion testing. She redesigned benefits setup to be more streamlined, user friendly, and provided future growth for implementation to Benefits Self Service. Provided training and guidance to the client team and assisted them with user acceptance testing. Designed employee task views, mapped security requirements, developed report specifications and worked with Oracle on resolving system issues. Post go live she identified areas of process improvement, developed a process for Annual Bonus payments, EEO-1 Reporting, Open Enrollment for Benefits, tax updates, PTO rollout for Bi-Weekly and Semi-Monthly employees, established a process for assigning an address book number before the employee information is received and Year End testing and processing. The client operates under a heavy union environment which included customized certified payroll reporting and a customized prevailing wage calculation solution. She worked with a team to redesign how equipment charges were entered through time entry, processed through payroll and re-classed prior to posting to the General Ledger which eliminated customizations to time entry. For serialized drums when a drum part is ready for painting McNeilus reclassifies the item and adds an X at the end of the item number. I wrote a spec to have an inventory valuation report modified to use the first receipt date of the item that an item ending in an X was reclassified from in order to get the first receipt date of the base item.

McNeilus has a custom program to update branch plant records. They wanted the ability to update the planner number with a zero value without getting an error or the next address book number so I wrote a spec explaining what needed to be done to accomplish this.

Wrote a spec to have a new program that would do a mass update of configurator cross segment rules effectivity dates.

Wrote a spec to have a new program to delete records from a custom table of supplier prices for branch plants that have been closed.

Modified the system to have two part numbers for freight default to status 520/560 in certain branch plants using preference profiling.

Designed SOP EDI system to import from several different text file input formats into the JDE Z files.

This system took a person full time to handle this process and almost a million dollars worth of orders were lost over the last 9 months in addition to losing customers.

I automated this process using JDE programs which resulted in no lost orders, eliminated the task of a full time person, and has enabled the company to reload lost orders thru the system recovering the lost revenue.

Fixed several programs that were generating “Infinite Loop” errors in the server log files...even though the processes weren’t actually doing infinite loops.

Analyzed log files for multiple kernel crashes. I suspected that several business functions need to be rebuilt due to changes made to the P4210 processing options, in this case, the new fields were added to the middle of the data structure instead of at the end which affects all the existing fields that come after the new fields.

A larger part of my time was spent on developing the 410 report (also called SOS “Sales Order Shortage” report). Used it to prioritize work orders and to determine which orders can be staged for shipping each day. The report is submitted from a selection application I designed and developed after users complained that updating the processing options and data selection for each report was too cumbersome:
