Our StoryThe story of Rheos began one beautiful, summer day in Atlanta on a bike ride to Stone Mountain. In between heavy breaths and steady pedals, two friends found themselves talking about some of the little-known but amazing places surrounding the city. It didn’t take long to realize how much more there was to the city around them, yet, like many others they had spent so much time and money traveling the globe in search of the the sensational rush that only discovery can give.

In that moment, the idea of Rheos was born to represent that no matter where you are, there is something new and exciting waiting for you around the corner. It is reminder that it doesn’t take a week’s vacation to try something new. Whether it’s an afternoon hike, a bike around the city, or a boulder-climb at the park, we want to motivate people to get out and #lookaround. Rheos is the Greek word for river current: constantly flowing, constantly changing. That’s why a portion of every sale from Rheos goes into our #lookaround cash pool to reward Rheos community members who like to go and see and do wherever you are.
