Over the past four years having just a couple of elected Green councillors and activists has breathed new life
into the Forest of Dean District Council.
This was recognised in the May 2nd polls where Green Party ranks on the
Council were trebled (to 6).

Councillor, and has led the struggle to re-establish the
Forest of Dean Youth Association (having won support
from Town and Parish Councils).

This District Council Election has been
delayed consequent upon the passing
of a well-loved and respected friend
and colleague while campaigning for
the May 2nd poll.
David Humphreys
David’s death is the terrible loss of someone who strove not
only for the protection of the environment but also for a fairer
world. His passion to make the world a better place was
inspiring. He made an important contribution to the Forest of
Dean Green Party as website manager and deeply reflective
thinker.
