SUPPLY CHAIN AND PLANT EXECUTIVE MANAGER – CF jul. 2014 – jan. 2016 Lead in South America, two complementary businesses: local production and import of filters
produced in other locations around the world, for distribution in South America.
Lead Cummins filtration to obtain the Gold Medal Award in Safety, by reinforcing team communication and implementing open safety discussions with all the team, every three months.
Obtained Ford’s Q1 certification, being the first global Cummins filtration plant and first business unit in South America, to obtain this important certification, by revising all our logistic processes to meet Ford’s requirements.
Implemented with success several cost reduction projects, totaling over US$ 1 million dollars per year, leading multiple brainstorming sessions, which allowed the involvement and contribution of all levels of the operation.
PROJECT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – EBU aug. 2013 – jun. 2014 Lead the nationalization project of a new Cummins engine family (ISF 3.8L and 2.8L), which after
2017, will represent over 60% of engine sales in South America.
Defined the strategy, selected the team and negotiated project objectives, obtaining corporate approval in all project implementation milestones.
Negotiated with BFCEC (JV Cummins-Foton) corporate leadership, the terms and conditions to allow the operation in South America, to become the first production unit outside China, to produce this engines family.
SUPPLY CHAIN AND PLANT MANAGER – CTT (Holset) jan. 2012 – jul. 2013 Managed CTT’s South America Cummins division – manufacturer of turbos for the supply of OEM’s
and Aftermarket segments.
Improved the fill rate from 70% to 98%, through the integration of CTT’s production planning with engine materials group.
SUPPLY CHAIN AND PLANT MANAGER – ReCon jul. 2009 – jul. 2013 Lead simultaneously the engines remanufacturing division (ReCon), with the engines machining
department (EBU) and also with CTT.
Reduced the delivery lead time for high demand remanufactured engines, from two weeks to immediate availability, with the implementation of a finished goods Kanban system.
