About us:

Rich Roofing Systems is a team-oriented commercial and industrial roofing contractor, meaning we work for businesses rather than homeowners. We work on metal and flat roofs across the state of Indiana. We do not install any shingles or work on homes. We provide high quality, energy efficient repair work as well as new roof systems for our clients.

Job Description:

Every morning we meet at 5365 W 86th St. on the NW side of Indianapolis (our business location). We prepare the trucks and load any equipment needed for the day. We take the trucks to the site, perform our work, then return to the shop. You will be paid from the time you arrive at the shop until you leave including the time spent to and from the site. Typically, our day lasts 8 – 12 hours. We work Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays. We can work around summer classes and prearranged engagements. Roofing is a weather dependent trade so the schedule can vary if there happens to be rain or extreme winds. You can expect to have 30-60 hours per week, usually averaging 40-50 hours in good weather conditions.

What we have to offer:

We offer $15 - $17 dollars per hour to start depending on previous experience with power tools, equipment, construction, or roofing experience. Employees that return for repeating summers between school years will be eligible for raises each year. We offer a great opportunity to learn and grow in a skilled trade while earning up to $900 per week after taxes! We do have full-time employment openings with vacation and sick days for anyone who is not planning to go to college. The full-time opportunities offer pay raises more often as well as more training opportunities and growth in a skilled trade that can place you in a better position for your future.

Requirements:

Any applicants must be 18+ years of age with a dependable way to get to work every day, must be able pass a drug test, and be able to work with others to accomplish a goal within specific timelines. We are looking for people with a great work ethic that can lift 100 lbs and work in the heat of the summer. We take pride in our excellent service and professionalism.
