September already?!?! Next thing you know we’ll be talking about Christmas. But before we get to Christmas, we still have some amazing rid-ing weather and rides to enjoy. Talking about enjoying rides, the Aug 25th Full moon dinner ride turned out to be better than I could have imagined. With dinner at A-Town Diner, Doc & I were joined by Charlotte, Ken, Kevin,
Darleen, Mike & Melanie. We rode through the east side of Atascadero, Templeton and Paso Robles. At times the moon was shin-ing through our windshield, then around a couple of winding mountain curves it was in our rear view mirror, then back to the windshield. I’m not sure but I think Kevin was taking us in a big circle. Doc kept say-ing I think I've seen that white picket fence before. It was perfect weather with great friends that makes the whole ride so mem-orable.
Speaking of friends making memories, we have Barb, Bob, Linda, Ken, Ron, Charleen and Larry on the road to Wing Ding 40 having the time of their lives. Can't wait to hear their stories when they get home. September 21st to 23rd is the Boyd's first annual back yard campout and chapter din-ner. See flyer for details.
We have another campout planned for Oct 5th to 7th at Shaver Lake. Ride Smart, Ride Safe, Doc & Kathy

Member’s HS Pictures Here’s a fun project. Send me your High School senior photo. Scan it and
send it in .jpeg format. Include what high school and year you graduated. I
think it would be great fun to see our members in their teen-age years. I’m
running close to the end of pictures available to me. If any of you would like
to participate in this fun project, please get your pictures to me ASAP.

Mike Ridgway
Hello “Gold Wing” riders. My name is Mike from Chapter “Q”, and I am here to
help if I can. During our trip to “Wing Ding” in Montana two of our Wings broke
down. It cost one rider approx. $1900.00 the other about $2100.00 to get home.
This really bothers me to no end! I went out and purchased a “Motorcycle /
Trike” tow unit for my pickup truck. Now I am retired, so I have all the time in
the world! I would like to offer to any “Winger” that breaks down and after us-
ing all of their “AAA” towing benefits and any other tow services and they still
are not home, CALL me and I will go get them FREE, just pay for my gasoline and
buy me a hamburger.
THANX Mike.
