How they lookRing tailed lemurs by the name have a striped tail that stops at the end of there tail. they
are gray and black in the face and have a long tail yet they can’t hang off things. They are 6 feet long and have orange eyes.With black around them and also brown, white fur.
Where a ring tailed lemur lives
Lemur live in Madagascar in the jungle where you find the open ares in the trees they live in nest,
trees, and by rocks.
What lemurs eats/ What eats lemurs.
Lemurs are omnivores so they eat fruit, nuts, and little animals like a bug or spider. There are seven things that eat lemurs,
and they have seven warning calls the seven animals are harries hawks, buzzards, ground boas, civets, domestic cats
and dogs, and fossa’s.They all are a big threat to lemurs.
Lemurs in groupsLemurs are in groups called troops the males don’t lead it. Females do and males
fight off predators. And the female they take care of baby’s and build nest.

Lemurs have babies at the age of 2-3, and the baby is on its own at the age of 4-5. They have there
babies after 135 days. Babies are called pups

Ring tailed lemurs have a special stink on there tail that they can rub on there
it. They use it to protect themselves and to claim territory. This is used for
also throwing at others or thing.

A ring tailed lemur has eyes that are orange.It can see better at night and day.Its eyes are so good that it can see a little bug. It has no hair on its
hands or legs so it can climb better.
