When we stopped on the Djebel and saw this ancient village we were mesmerized by the beauty and perfection of this Man-Nature masterpiece.

The geological fold framing so elegantly the cluster of constructions, the natural materials, the stark contrast between the wise location of the village, above the dates producing palms oasis, and the sharp, inhospitable peaks combined to show how Man and Nature can live and prosper in a sustainable way.
