. DISCUSSION / PRESENTATION ON A DOG PARK

. VOTE ON CREATING A DOG PARK WITHIN THELIMITS OF RIVERPARKa. A vote in favor of the Dog Park will allow the Neighborhood

Council to work with the various city entities to establish aDog Park.

b. A vote not in favor would mean that the NeighborhoodCouncil would recommend against the establishment of aDog Park within of RiverPark to any city agency that mayTake action to create a Dog Park.

c. NOTE: This does not prevent any individual from seekinga Dog Park as private citizens. It just means that theNeighborhood Council will not support their efforts.

essential for the police to be advised when crimes oto be better able to protect the public. Here are stips to assist you:

PREVENTION

Personal

  DO NOT carry large amounts of cash;

  DO NOT travel alone. There is safetnumbers;

  DO stay alert and be aware of surroundings;

  DO stay in well-lit areas.Chi ld

  Never open the door to a stranger;  Never take anything from a stranger;

  Never talk to a stranger;

  Never give your name or address to a strange

  If a stranger tries to follow or grab you R AWAY AND SCREAM!

Vehicle

  DO NOT leave your keys in your car, on or

  DO NOT leave any valuable items in your c

  DO NOT pick up strangers;

  DO lock vehicle windows and doors;

  DO park your vehicle in well-lit areas.Home

  DO NOT leave windows or dopen/unlocked if you are away;

  DO NOT enter your house if you see evideof a burglary. Call 911 and wait elsewherepolice arrival.

  DO have well-lit doors, windows and yardnight;

  DO consider alarm systems

  DO consider joining the CabNeighborhood watch. Neighbors wortogether in cooperation with police make of the best crime fighting teams!

  If you meet a burglar, let him go! Bettelose money or property than your life!
