Compilation and critical evaluation of A+M data for collision processes of molecular hydrogen species (neutral and ionized, in their ground and vibrationally excited states) with other plasma edge constituents (electrons, protons, atomic hydrogen and its negative ion) 2. Calculation of cross sections for processes involving hydrogenic species and other edge plasma constituents for which the literature data are either of inadequate accuracy or not available at all 3. “Atomic and Molecular Data for Plasma Modelling”

The following activities will be carried out during the duration of the CRP:

1. Compilation and critical evaluation of A+M data for collision processes of molecular hydrogen species (neutral and ionized, in their ground and vibrationally excited states) with other plasma edge constituents (electrons, protons, atomic hydrogen and its negative ion)

2. Calculation of cross sections for processes involving hydrogenic species and other edge plasma constituents for which the literature data are either of inadequate accuracy or not available at all

3. Compilation and critical evaluation of cross section data for collision processes of hydrocarbon molecules and their ions with electrons and protons, and improving the cross section scaling relationships

4. Analysis of isotopic effects in certain molecular collision processes and reactions and formulation of appropriate scaling relationships
