PLEATED CELLULOSE CARTRIDGES

RL SERIES

RL Series The RL series cartridges have been designed for removal of

contaminants from both liquids and gases where nominal

filtration is required. The RL series cartridge media is

manufactured using a phenolic resin impregnated cellulose

media that is heat cured for strength and durability. Tin-Plated

steel components, thermosetting PVC adhesives and Buna N

gaskets are used to fabricate Royal liquid filter elements. Other

gasket materials, and end capping adhesives are also available

when required. Center cores are made from helical wrapped

tin-plated steel to prevent collapse at high differential pressure.

When external cages are specified, these are also made with Tin

-plated steel, that are perforated, and lock seamed to provide

added durability for tough applications. The tin plating also

prevents corrosion.

The RL Series filter cartridges provides a high surface area that

offers maximum dirt holding capacity, high flow rate, and a low

initial differential pressure drop. The normal flow direction for

these cartridges if from outside to inside.

These cartridges can be made in a wide variety of single length

integral elements allowing for the ease of change outs, a

reduction in labor costs, eliminating the need for center seals

that may cause bypass.

Retrofit cartridges are available for most manufacturers and

OEM’s. Many additional options are available such as handles,

threaded end connections, single open end elements and PVC

and Polypropylene outer netting. If you have special design

range from 80 to 95%. If higher efficiencies are necessary, please

refer to our RL-AB series high efficiency cartridges.
